Fantastic news! So happy to hear!!
Hey Mike,
I just wanted to give you a shout and let you know that I got my meds today! Placed my order with Rachel on Monday, and the pkg got here this morning. No script needed, but I did have a business address for her to ship it to, and assured her I was not eating it as is. I am waiting for all my encapsulating supplies to arrive so I can start building pills. I am still looking for a dr. to monitor my labs but I have a couple of consults scheduled, so I’m not worried. I have the meds now, and I have hope. I’m excited and scared of the “what ifs”, but the alternative to doing nothing is just not acceptable. THANK YOU, for your courage to order your meds, your eagerness to share your story, and your input on the scary process of encapsulating. To anyone in the US who is on the fence, JUST DO THIS. My package sailed through customs, and after all the testing that Fix hep C has done on Mesochem API’s, I feel fairly secure enough to take the meds. I want to beat this, and I want to share and celebrate all our success stories!Good for you Sean, so happy for you! Good luck!!
Hi Mike,
Did you not test the Mesochem meds at all before you started tx then? Obviously if you are feeling well, you’re good to go though..I know it can be terribly expensive for testing, but love hearing about everything coming out of China as testing perfectly safe. Thanks!Hi Dr. Freeman,
I think I understand this. But to be sure, if I were to add riba to my sof/dac, I would want to take it nearer the end of my tx. Sounds like add riba to the last 84 days of treatment would be good? Sorry; I am getting ready to order meds and am just really unsure if I need or want to do this, but of course I really DO want to wallop the hell out of this virus. Maybe I just bite the bullet and add it in later to be sure.
Many thanks! That’s fantastic news! So so happy for you!!
Fantastic Nadia!! So happy for you!!!!
Hi M,
Just so I am clear, did you send them a letter stating that you were using them for research or was an email sufficient? Did they send MSDS sheets or something similar to prove content to customs if necessary? Finally, did you have a script from a doctor to include for Meso? Not sure if U.S. Customs actually requires a script for personal imported API’s or pills… Fantastic news that they came through customs for you without a hitch. Good luck, and keep us posted on your tx.Hi Dointime,
I am in the US, and recently sent an email to Rachel as Mesochem. Here is her reply (received today) to my inquiry:Dear Sir,
Good day!
Thank you so much for your email, we are supplier of daklatasvir
But our product is powder form API, not medicine, can’t be used for treatment directly, sorry we can’t sell.Best wishes,
RachelIt seems that it’s getting harder to access from this company now. Anybody else heard anything? Also does any body know if the new TTP is a signed, done deal? I read that it looks like 8 years on patented drugs before generics can be made. Are we in danger of losing the India and China suppliers? Would These countries be required right away to stop making generics? Not exactly sure how this works, if someone could send a link, so am better Informed?? Thanks.
2b, have you treated at all yet?
Yep, I know what you mean; my insurance company wants me to get cirrhosis before they’ll cover as well, and even then the co- pay is far more than I could ever afford. I’m in Oregon. I have an appt with a new hep dr in a couple weeks. Am hoping he’s a progressive thinker!
Hello,
I just read your post regarding starting treatment overseas then bringing the meds back to finish up in the US. . I relapsed on my first treatment, so will be extending this second treatment to 24 weeks. If I end up having to go abroad, my biggest fear is not being allowed to bring 6 months worth of meds back into the US; either because the value of the meds might exceed the allowed amount, or because I would only be allowed to bring In 3 months of meds at a time. I hope I am worrying for nothing, and it wouldn’t be an issue. I’m gathering info and learning as much as I can about this wonderful and scary quest for The Cure. Am so glad to have found this site, & glad of everyone’s willingness to share their experiences. Am getting my finances together, and of course trying to find the most efficient, budget friendly way to do this. As they say, “where there is a will, there is a way!!” Wonderful news to hear so many of you are getting treatment and are feeling better. Yahoo!!Hi Dointime,
I think you are in UK? I have heard the docs there, along with the US docs are VERY reluctant to write scripts for generics. did you get your meds without a script, or did you manage to find a doc who was willing to do that for you? I’m so anxious to get my meds before our avenues to do so get shut down. I am just going to start pounding the pavement and Knocking on doors til I find a doctor who is willing to help. Thanks for any input. Keep fighting the fight.Sanity rules; makes sense to me. Thanks Doc.
