Howdy Happi, I really have to look at the positive things that Hep-C has done in my life. Like I stopped smoking (2006), Lost a kidney (but never would have gone to the doctor’s,it was found at the time the liver bio was done, saved my life). I used to drink beer after work and that stopped when I found out I had Hep-C in 2005 and as I look back on that it was just a waste of time and money. I can read my body now, I eat to live. My relationship with God it just grow’s stronger and closer every day.I got to spend a lot of time with my daughter while she was growing up ( I was a work obssesed fool, now I take time to smell the roses ) I don’t react to stressful times like I used too. So lots of postive changes. I am on day 15 now and I feel pretty good ( some days better than others ) My doc wanted a blood baseline, I told him I just had one in Nov. and it’s been the same for years. So I did another and I think he thinks I need another because my AST and ALT numbers were AST 18 and ALT 15 ( 9 days into treatment) and they have been AST 55 and ALT 49 . At one time about 5 yrs ago I was almost undetected, I eat good with green superfoods ect.But after trying interferon 4 yrs ago I could feel this virus slowing me down, so now I am grateful to find a way to get rid of it and heal and move on. Peace B)

Hey Happi, Beacon was great to order from, BUT make sure your bank knows how to wire money, because my bank said they did and they actually use another bank so things can get messy and stressy on both ends. It’s been over a month and the bank money wire blunder is just getting smoothed out. Stress and Hep-C don’t mix. As they say dot your I’s and cross your T’s. B)

Hey Doxner, Glad to hear your hanging in there !!!! Yea some days are better than others. I have gained 8 lbs in the last two weeks ( I used to vape some weed just to get rid of nausea and to eat ) I haven’t had the need to use since I started treatment. But I thought y’all might find this interesting though. The doctor said to me come in we need to get a baseline blood test, I told him come on now I’m 9 days into treatment and my blood test look the same for the last 3 or more years ( almost a mirror image to one another) so the one’s that stuck out were the AST and ALT. They have been AST 55 and ALT 49, I mean everytime. They read AST 18 and ALT 15, so something is going on. B)

Good to hear !!!! This will give you a laugh, My wife asked me if I was smoking weed ( cause I’m eating a lot ) I told her no, I am actually hungry !!!! and a lot of my aches are going away. I have to keep telling myself to slowly get back into the swing of things. I have another guy that is ready to get treatment. He is very healthy now and feels just fine. He was just worried about side effects. He’s a smart man seeking treatment before he feels the down side of Hep-C. I’m hoping to convince others I know to do the same. Man I’m really hungry, you don’t know what a blessing that is. The best is yet to come !!!! B)

Hang in there brother, I dealt with the headpounding and the like, drink some fresh juices and eat more smaller meals ( helped me with the head, body aches and the #2) I take my meds 6 am with a bowl of oatmeal with nuts and banana lotsa water and juice through out the day and I don’t really notice anything but felling more energy and I also do light exercise. Prayers than your body adjusts to the meds. Peace and wellness to you :)

They have cleared customs, ya know it’s my birthday next week :woohoo: Good timing :) Reading all this feedback is awesome. What I mean is if I would have read all the feedback on interferon before, I would have never tried it, I could have got Harvoni 2 yrs ago but I was scared (only lasted 2 weeks on interferon) then they change the rules here that you need to be 3 up to get treatment, anyway this place is a BLESSING and I share it where ever I go. B) First day of shcool :woohoo:

Hey splitdog a belated Merry Christmas to ya :woohoo: and yea I have a tracking # :woohoo: One thing that folks may find interesting is that Harvoni on the T.V. adds are no more ( I used to see them 20+ times a day) now it’s just a Hep C info add and suggesting baby boomers get tested ect. It’s funny my docs thinks this is great and says OH !!! we need to do a blood test so we have a baseline to go from, and I told him I just got one ( my yearly ) a few months ago and It’s the same as the year before and the year before and the year before that. I figure I’ve had Hep c for over 35+ years little more than half my life, found out in 2005 and changed my lifestyle and diet and really didn’t notice anything until 2010, started with aches and inflamation that comes and go,but the last few years I run out of gas fast (hard to work hard more than 2 hrs at a time) and don’t feel like eating like I used to, like the dimmer switch is being turned down. I know a few people here who are cured using Harvoni and they were stage 3-4 and did that nasty interferon crap, but they only had they usual side effects from Harvoni and I saw firsthand the difference it made in their lives ( they were all mentally getting prepared to die from Hep c) All of them are very active and have a glow about they,so you know I’m grateful and ready to join and work again so I can support my family and have the energy to do so. B)
