You’re right their Dr James…the more family farms get foreclosed on (and/or bought out by foreign interests/coal gas seam companies) the fewer healthier grass-fed livestock we will produce in this country, leading to concreted farmlots necessitating widespread use of animal antibiotics.
My cousin on the land is fortunate to have held onto the family landholding into two generations so far, but its not like he turns any profit (as most rural farms don’t)

I mean I have been thinking that there are many cirrhotics that I know cannot afford the $1.5K to do this and have about as much chance of flying to the moon. I am so privileged in comparison to most people in this world. If we could fund access for these people, via clever marketing wouldn’t that be something? Em
Absolutely with you, em. I have been extremely fortunate to have been given the chance to access treatment, and being nowhere even vaguely near cirrhotic, I can’t imagine the anguish those sufferers must go through if they learn about generics but cannot access them. If we could work out some way of generating an income stream which doesn’t compromise the club’s legal status as a facillitator only, then hell yes I think we should go for it.

ALT 26Hey emilio cheers for the reply. If its a bit of an ask technically, no worries – just thought I’d throw it out there re feasibility. I get that some site architecture might not play too well. All good

ALT 26Absolutely, em. I have a longstanding (near enough to 30 years now) fascination with Russia and her history (hence my nick on here) and its mind-boggling how one people have withstood so much, over a thousand years…and continue to today. All hail the reign of Comrade Puitin, indeed (or else heh)
We really have no idea, and are truly blessed I agree!

ALT 26Yep being anxious about not being able to sleep will make it more difficult. I have nerve pain which wakes me up/prevents me sleeping through the night, best thing is to occupy yourself with something like reading, not dwelling on the fact you can’t sleep. Often it will then just happen.

ALT 26Does seem illogical Ann, but I think its just that the test cannot quantify a specific level <15 IU/ml (at least from my reading if it) And why you have follow-up testing. Just found this on the Mayo site
A result of “<15 IU/mL (<1.18 log IU/mL)" indicates that HCV RNA is detected, but the HCV RNA level present cannot be quantified accurately below this lower limit of quantification of this assay. When clinically indicated, follow-up testing with this assay is recommended in 1 to 2 months. To assess response-guided therapy eligibility, an "Undetected" result is required, and a result of "<15 IU/mL mL (<1.18 log IU/mL)" should not be considered equivalent to an "Undetected" result.
A quantitative result expressed in IU/mL and log IU/mL indicates the degree of active HCV viral replication in the patient. Monitoring HCV RNA levels over time is important to assess disease progression and/or monitoring a patient's response to anti-HCV therapy.
