    Hi Defeat10,

    If you have a GP and they won’t order blood work, you should drop them! I don’t understand the whole “monitor” thing with the DAA’s. My GP ordered my tests but told me someone should “monitor” me; my response was : “If someone was slipping this in my food, I would not know it”

    That said, don’t be so honest. Just go to a GP and tell them you want a VL test and Liver function panel. Don’t tell them you are taking generics.

    Hi D, If you have your initial results: genotype, v/l, fibrosis score, CBC and CMP, you can order and start tx. The next labs are 4 weeks out from there. Its very possible you will only need one more set, at 12 weeks EOT. If worse comes to worse, you could fly to Little Rock and have my GI order the labs. She is a caring soul at the top liver center in the state. She wants to cure people, not cover her ass. A round trip flight to LR should be less than $200. I arranged for my PCP to order the tests and fax them to her.
    Worked like a charm. Saved a lot of driving time.

    just do it, get your medicine, get cured, you can always find a place/dr. somewhere to order a few lab tests…monitoring, without ribavirin, is no big deal….these meds are less side effects than antibiotics for most people, I’m in NY by the way…its just no big deal, get your meds, get yourself better.

    GT 2b; since 80’s, no prior tx, sofosbuvir and daclatasvir compounded from API’s at Kingswood Pharmacy in Sydney, started tx nov 6,2015, undetected at 4 wks, UND at 8 weeks, UND at 1 week after EOT, UND at 4 weeks after EOT and UND at 8 weeks after EOT. I feel GOOD!! I knew that I WOULD!””
