Hi All,
Thanks for having me here on the forum, Dr Freeman said it would be best to come on here and post my request.
I’m a reporter for the ABC’s 7.30 program and I’m looking to speak with hepatitis C patients based on the East Coast, ideally in QLD, NSW and VIC about your experience dealing with doctors and liver specialists when you raise the possibility of importing generic medication.
I am interested in hearing whether this approach was encouraged with a script written, supported but not encouraged with the doctor/clinic wanting to be at arms length from it, or whether the doctor/clinic did not support this and changes to treatment and support would occur if you went ahead.
If you’re willing to chat with me we can talk over the phone – my number is 0447 279 901 or you can email me Atkin.Michael@abc.net.au initially the conversation will be on background and just for research. Eventually I’m looking to speak with someone for an on-camera interview which would be pre-recorded.
Thanks for considering this.
Some of you may have seen this earlier story I did for 730.
