Sof /Dac realised 1 day meds short 7 years 10 months ago #16273

Hi everyone

I'm at the end of my 12 week treatment tomorrow. I have noticed I'm one day short of both Sof/Dac. I could let my imagination run riot and blame some foreign dude in a dark room, snitching 1 tab from each bottle to sell on the side ...but I won't...the boring reality is I'm a shift worker and at times work really long hours. Even though I have my meds in one of those daily dose plastic distributors (specially designed to prevent people like me doubling up on the same day :) I've got a sneaky suspision I may have absently mindedly taken 2 lots on the one day..eeeek!!
Fortunately I had previously ordered an additional 4 weeks supply as an added precaution to hopefully avoid any potential relaps'n.. I'm geno 3a

My question is this - considering I have the additional 4 wks supply on hand to take with out any gaps. Do I need to worry about being one day short when I finally do reach EOT in 4 wks time. Or is it recommended that I somehow source the 2 additional tabs, just incase I didn't actually double dose?

I agree with Tweakmax. If it was me I wouldn't be concerned particularly as you are already extending your treatment by a month anyway. I don't believe 111 days instead of 112 will make a noticeable difference. :)

Now I come to think about it, it sounds dumb to even have worried in the first place...I guess that's the point of forums....a way to get out of your own head/thoughts with people in the same boat.. Thanks Gaj

Not dumb at all, it's smart to check these things. We all have our doubts and worries when on treatment. :)
