In Newsweek yesterday

www.newsweek.com/there-only-one-sure-way...is-c-epidemic-708583

The title

There is only one sure way to fix the hepatitis C epidemic

The conclusion

Generics and lower prices

Most of the comments about generics are being moderated out, but a few are surviving...

Share and comment if you can.
YMMV

weird moderating. I did 2 comments that had links, they survived 12 hours and disappeared then I was blocked, Got round that and tried an innocuous comment which made it in. Now I see my first 2 are back, and the low key one is gone.

My comment with a link has been removed.

Follow Up 11/19/17 morning

Just posted again but did not include link. Rather just the name FixHepC. Hopefully it will stay up this time. Other comments that mention FixHepC are still up at this time.

It has been weird moderating. I posted twice and one has stuck so far. It now says under comments
"Closed". I guess we got too close to the money.

The thread is closed but at least 13 comments are still up. Dr Freeman and Fixhepc are mentioned.

Big Pharma is at it again, actually they never stop, their BS is endless!! The US is shameful when it comes to generics, oh well. Nothing I can do about it except speak my mind, which I do. The below quote from the article speaks volumes, it's a shame they closed the thread and removed posts!!

"To keep prices high, Gilead has constructed an elaborate thicket of patents around its treatment portfolio—and the soonest a generic competitor will be able to enter the market at this time is 2034. "
G1a dx'd in 1992, Biopsy F2 VL 8mill +. Tried tx with Interferon/Riba, back in 2008 didn't last long it felt horribly ugly!! I stopped tx, after 5 weeks!!
Started tx 6/1/16 with Harvoni.
