Hey all of you Americans that have been helped by this site. I've got an idea to get the news of generics and this site into the American Mainstream Media ... and we get to help an American Veteran in the process!

How about a bunch of us pledge money to buy 24 weeks of generic Sof/Dac/Rib for Zion Israel ... on the condition that he contact his journalist from CBS and tell him what he's doing. He's the man in this video:

I think I know how to find him. I'd be willing to make the offer if we get enough pledges.
I bet Emilio could collect the money and get the drugs shipped from Kingswood Pharmacy for us.
We'll need something in the range of $2300.

I thank everyone for their support and encouragement for the Pharma/VA interview on CBS. As a result I have been approved for treatment but let's not forget the others who need treatment and are being denied. Blessings!

Okay ... I found him .... but it says on his facebook page that he has now been approved for treatment due to the CBS story publicity.

So I'll think about this and see if there's still a way to leverage this. He may still be able/willing to get us in touch with his journalist, or maybe he knows of another case that would make a good story for CBS.

Everybody keep their eyes open for an alternative way to do this.

(Damn ... I'd have found him sooner if I'd only read more carefully and seen the "Y" in front of his name.)

G1a probably early 1980's, Biopsy F1(2010), F2-F3(2015). VL 5+mill; 2+mill (2014) Tx naive. Accessed Sof/Led through Dr Freeman at GP2U and Buyers Club (lifesavers!!!)
Commenced tx 12/11/15. 9 wk: VL <15 Detected but LFT = Normal 12 week results: UND (Yay!) Due to slow response commenced Sof/Dac 4 Feb for 12 weeks. EOT @ 24 weeks 27 April 2016. (With thanks to Dr Freeman et al). SVR11 result: VL 1,950,000. It's back!
New tx 030916 (Viekira Pak, Solvadi, Ribavirin UND @ 111116. EOT 170217.
