It has been great to see another of Dr James' saves having this film out. Martin is from my town, we both started alpha interferon the same day in 1999. We were the first here, we had to watch the video and remain in hospital the night. I shivered and shook all night long, and every 2nd night for 12 months.

At the time, I believed the fairy tale that it was a50/50 success rate. I thought, ok if not me the rock star can be cured! Now we both are, thanks to Dr James and FixhepC, and Martin had our #hepcbutterfly on his media board.
It won an award at the USA SXSW festival, and the NZ Premiere last week was here in Dunedin- I went along! With Claire Newman of Hep C Action. It is on general release now, will be in Australia in August I think.

Genotype 3 30 years, 2x treatment interferon/ribavirin non responder. Cirrhosis 17 years. Fibroscan, decompensating, 40 down to 22 by 29/3/16- now down to 6.5, normal, no cirrhosis. Started Buyers Club Sof/Dac 14 Nov 15. SVR 12 29/0716
