HCV, like many things in life, has been both a curse and a blessing for me. The curse part is obvious. The blessing has, for me, been all the new friends and acquaintances I have had the pleasure of meeting and making, especially here at FixHepC.
So, here is a place where we can share more about who we are and where we choose to live as we begin to put HCV in the rear view mirror.

Welcome to Fayetteville, Arkansas. I went off to college there in 1972 on a music scholarship which paid the year's tuition of $300.00.
I never left...

I was born in Hobart but have spent half my life in far flung regions from Sydney to London, Guadalcanal to Cape Town.

I've lived in big cities and small towns and prefer something in the middle.

I'm like a penguin coming back after a year at sea.

Every time I return the smell of the place makes me feel like I'm home

YMMV

Tasmania is a beautiful place. I lived in Glenorchy for 2 years and worked in the City of Hobart. Was living there when the accident happened with the bridge came down that's how long ago it was. Have been back for a couple of holidays over the years too. :)

Yes, Tasmania....
It looks and reads like an exotic movie locale and sounds much like Timbuktu in a conversation.
I plan to go there in the near future and see if it feels as upside down as it seems. See if the water really rotates the "other way" as it goes down the drain.
There's this doctor down there...
I need to shake his hand..
Maybe buy him a beer..
Seems a nice sort..

Go to the top tabs of the forum home page and read the section on getting treated it will tell you how to access meds and the cost. Meds can be sent to NZ as well with the Redemption trial.

No crocs this far south, we do get the odd snake from time to time. The mozzies don't breed in the creek so it depends on how much rain we have. The house is well screened but outside can sometimes be uncomfortable at dusk if no sea breeze.

It's a very quiet little pocket within reasonable distance of town which means I can enjoy the hustle and bustle but retreat at the end of the day. :+1: :)
