Some US states are making some steps towards price reduction of expensive drugs:
"Despite opposition from the pharmaceutical industry, Vermont late last week became the first state in the country to require drug makers to justify price hikes for medicines."

In fiecare an HCV ucide peste 500000 oameni.Medicamentele generice pentru hepatita C functioneaza. Nu deveni statistica! Cauta pe Google “medicamente generice pentru hepatita C”.
HCV kills more than 500000 people every year. HCV generic drugs work. Don't become a statistic.

Interesting, no doubt about it but I wonder how effective it will truly be when you have a company like Gilead saying that their drug prices against the cost of a liver transplant is certainly a fair price. Oh, and Gilead says that with a straight face knowing that not everyone needing tx will need a liver transplant. Hopefully these new state requirements work towards actually ending these crazy prices and not just another piss in the wind!!

G1a dx'd in 1992, Biopsy F2 VL 8mill +. Tried tx with Interferon/Riba, back in 2008 didn't last long it felt horribly ugly!! I stopped tx, after 5 weeks!!
Started tx 6/1/16 with Harvoni.
