Coral posted an article earlier on the benefits of coffee (The Age). Here's another report from the AASLD conference:

www.aidsmap.com/Coffee-consumption-linke...-NAFLD/page/3017036/

"People with hepatitis C who drank two or more cups of coffee daily had a 13% reduction in liver stiffness after taking into account confounding factors including age, sex, weight, alcohol consumption and smoking – a significant association."

I gave up coffee for years because it would give me appalling headaches but now I found a really clean and delicious one that doesn't have any bad effects. So I am getting into it now (still waiting to treat).
I think you have to be very careful where you source your brew...I've had toxic effects from some very boutique beans.

Hope it's OK whilst undergoing treatment.

I'm on the Harvoni medication and also consuming a couple of coffees per day.

The organic variety, of course.
