I had several appointments with Prof Paul Desmond at St Vincents liver clinic last year hoping to get on DAAs through PBS in December but that was delayed. I was directed to FixHepC by a friend and bit the bullet to start treatment through Dr James.
Yesterday I had an appointment with Prof Desmond and had just received results for SVR4. I kept the appointment to tell him the good news. One of the first things he asked was "Did you do it through that doctor in Hobart?" I replied "Yes Dr Freeman!'

Thanks again Dr James for everything. :+1: B)

Did you go to St Vs too, Ariel? Prof Desmond is a nice chap. There are a few doctors there but I only saw him.

Sadly no, Sonix I was in the Private system and that was a disaster wound up at Monash. They don't even write up 4 weeksEOT or during tx either. I'm doing all path privately and just pop into the clinic at Monash so I can keep an eye on some things I got during peginf.
I have a mate who had fantastic care at St Vs too he even got a trial
Stoked for your SVR4
My GP Wrote bloods up for my PCR RNA today I will go in to the local Dorevitch next Friday and have them hoping to get the magic news too.
Sounds all good at St Vs I only hear great things.
