Having Hep C is a deeply personal and private issue so not talking about it makes sense for most people and that is absolutely fine.

We have a number of media outlets wanting to feature a story on fixhepc but it is contingent on having patients who have used the service willing to speak to it.

If you are prepared to share your personal journey please drop us a line at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Telling your story just might save somebody else's life.
YMMV

I am going to write to the pollies, ask them to lobby to import from china and india.

I'm happy to be personally named in any written thing like a newspaper.
Diagnosed in the early 90's, geno 3, had Interferon 2006, currently on Sofosbuvir & Daclatasvir

NO VIRUS @ 4 WEEKS of Sofosbuvir & C Daclatasvir

Still free - SVR4 and at 8 weeks too

Still free at 7 months, CURED!!

I don't think we can lobby for generics to come in.

The governments killed this avenue with the signing of trade pacts and approving patents for big pharma.

I've been thinking that it is important that the media now has the voice of the 'Generically Cured' to speak of the process and outcomes.
Let me have a wee think about it and talk it over with my family.
