I do not know him in person (but I read about him) nor belong to the fb group....
I was thinking whether he knows about the information from fixhepc being translated in Romanian language? Perhaps it would be relevant to spread it on their fb group.

Indeed, the most patients from Romania have the genotype 1b, this is mentioned also in a couple of medical reports.

I have also gained weight despite being fairly active (probably not active enough, I guess Yoga and swimming and weights are not enough). I feel if a month goes by and I have not gained weight I am winning

Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

EOT Results
Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

12 Weeks post EOT

Did a fibroscan and the score is 13.9. before treatment last year Aug was 8.7. suspect is fatty liver. Going to see doc in January and see what she says. Already started diet yesterday to try to stop the fibrosis from advancing. Alt ast is still in normal range although a bit high ( 52 / 36 ) The following user(s) said Thank You: fitz
