| I eat a lot of Miso...soy is very different when its fermented. Normal soy I avoid anyway...it's mostly pretty toxic....but Miso... Do I need to forgo it on Dac? And Led as well? I might choose Led if I can still eat Miso. F49HepC25ysGT1a "mild" Harvoni 12 wks Brisbane, Australia |

Hi FlyingFox, I don't think we can draw definite conclusions yet. I have miso in the fridge too, and I decided not to have it for lunch today. But the link I posted was to a solitary study on rats, and I've only seen the summary page. I've seen soy described as an inhibitor elsewhere, which wouldn't be so bad (if you want to dose up). I think we need to hear more from the medical and scientific people on the forum... | |

Seems not, fox (speaking tentatively)

| I haven't started treatment yet so I'm still trying to choose. Daclatasvir seems to be contraindicated for a few of my favourite things. F49HepC25ysGT1a "mild" Harvoni 12 wks Brisbane, Australia |

Hey Flying Fox!!!! I've been eating miso during 8 months before TX....Fantastic...! I stopped eating Macrobiotics on TX because it wasn't possible anymore...Every tissue in your body will change...so...to me eating healthy was a difficult thing to do because all this years I ate so strict!!.....BUT Miso is full of omega and you should not eat that with TX....I don't know...Miso is such an intestins-cleaner....I don't do it...You will not be able to control your appetite anyways

Hey! he TX will take control of your appetite anyways...Once you start TX, a lot of powerful things will be happening on a physical, emotional, spiritual level....With all this happening your body will need more calories and stuff...I've been very disciplined all these years...And on TX: uncontrolable LOL

| Interesting...omegas are not good on Tx? Thats really why I am concerned about Miso...its my probiotic (I use unpasteurised). Maybe once my digestion comes back on line I won't need it so much. I'm not hugely strict diet wise, though I always prefer fresh food. Rich food has made me feel sick for years and years now. Be funny if that changes. I might get fat! I'm battling that myself ff66, All the foods I couldn't eat previously look, smell and taste delicious now. I use to have to make myself eat at mealtimes to keep condition. Now, I find I want to eat all day!
