Really sorry to hear your news Paul. I reckon reducing high GI carbs and sugar is the way to go next time as others are saying. Wish I'd heard that advice before I started as I reckon high glucose levels are responsible for my slow response to Sof/Dac (I'm pre diabetic). I've relapsed so many times I'm finding it hard to stay positive about curing this time. I know GT3 can be a bugger to cure but I reckon you'll do it next time. Just wondering why you are doing Sof/Dac again rather than waiting for some of the pan genotype drugs in the pipeline. Anyway, big big hugs. Hi Paul - I've been relocating for the past few weeks so am slowly catching up with the news. So sorry to hear yours but liking your attitude - it is what it is so lets get on with it. Thanks all for the reminder about the carbs and glucose. I've taken less notice of this while I've been moving and things have crept back into my diet that probably aren't helping the fight. Hi Paul, Yes, if it was me I'd be trying the low GI diet as much as possible, it's not too hard & sugar cravings get less & less quickly when on that type of diet. Bet it'd make a difference. That was supposed to be a PM to Archer, but it seems I'm struggling operating on this forum. Also wondering if Paul is an old Nomad refugee like myself. Weather he is or isn't, the 'R' word is a lousy outcome to have to grapple with. The following user(s) said Thank You: fitz

Hi Skank, I've removed your other post from public view and forwarded it to Archer as a Private Message. You can also send PMs on this site by clicking on the little blue speech bubble at the bottom of the side panel with their user name and other details to the left of a member's post. You can read PMs sent to you by clicking on your own name to go to your profile where you will find the link in a similar spot. Or via the link just under "Glossary" in the row of tabs at the top right of each page. (If that isn't showing click on the little blue tab to the right of the "Glossary" one.) Hope that helps. Many thanks for that Gaj. I used to be quite active on several forums in the past, but my cognitive powers ain't what they used to be. Sure I''ll get the hang of it again eventually, and hope to participate a bit more around here when I do.
