| I got a call from the DR James last week informing me that I flunked my SVR 4 test, the bastard virus is back. Hopefully I'll have meds on Tuesday to retreat again. Dr James was quick off the mark organising treatment again which I am thankful for. It didn't come as a complete shock as some of the Hep C symptoms had come back and I was already thinking the worst before I got test results back. The good thing is we now have options and easy access to treatment so I am confident that at some point a SVR will be achieved. cheers Two time relapser. | Hi Paul sorry to hear your news and I was wondering when I saw you had changed your signature to "having another crack". So good we have options for when this thing happens. What meds and treatment length are you going to do? SVR 24 The following user(s) said Thank You: Paul-Jarman-facebook |

| Bollocks, sorry I can't think of a better word am really sorry to hear this Paul did you do 12 weeks or 24 I think you were UD from early on too. I know you're sorted through James its worth mentioning there are many trails on right now for those who failed DAA treatment I would think you'd get on one if needed. I know its upsetting, anyone I've read about that has failed has managed too get there with a different regime. Fingers crossed actually everything crossed for you. | I did 18 weeks, if this was a couple of years ago I would be worried but I know we will eventually get there. I don't have any issues on the DAA's and we are fortunate to have access to meds in this country. I also helps having the expertise of Dr James available. Two time relapser. What was the progression of symptoms that made you suspect what turned out to be an unfortunate relapse? I mean, did you feel better during treatment and then things changed in a particularly noticeable way? I'm just asking as I'm sure that most people have waves of vitality and enervation, so you must have noticed something out of the ordinary that provoked your suspicion. Maybe there is something for all of us to look out for just in case. G4, F4, cirrhosis. Thank you to Gilead, Michael Sofia, and the terrific folk at FixHepC for making this adventure possible. Hi Paul, sorry to read this that this has happened. It's the worry at the back of our minds. Feel for you. However it is good you say that you have no issues with the DAA's, so at least you have no worries about sides. You will get there in the end, wishing you all the very best. Good question A.L and I'm glad you asked it. The symptoms that came back were bloating, swollen liver and some mild liver pain which I hadn't had for 3 months. I was on a cruise at EOT and had been putting on weight eating a lot of rich food so I was hoping that it was just my fatty liver playing up. I knew I had a bloods coming up so didn't worry about it. I knew that not all of us would SVR straight up and it appears that GT-3's are batting about 90% on the DAA's, we'll get there eventually PS; Wife has me on these bloody raw veggie shakes for breakfast now, lost 4 kgs in 3 weeks cheers Two time relapser.
