Some major minor issues in the US with the site and posting right now???
Anyone else in the “proper” hemisphere seeing that as well?

SVR2420 February 2016 at 4:24 am #12302We all need to go easy on the cowboy I agree that the post was a little strange, but he lives in Texas. I live in NJ, but my company headquarters is in FL. These “right to work” states seem to feature “right to die” health insurance regulations. Like my insurance carrier BCBS in FL who only treat “transplant waiting list patients”. I mean really, what kind of evil shit is that? Probably the same in Texas…my point being he may have a lot of problems.

Closing a thread that has gone way off-topic (which this one hadn’t) is one thing, but “disappearing” a thread is very, very ugly and smacks of censorship. My impression was that this was a site of discussion, not a place for silencing and eliminating opinion.
Is this site still based in Australia, or has it begun a transition to Oceania?

20 February 2016 at 6:53 am #12310Hi Chester I think your right about the troll comment only have to check previous posts.
Here in Southern Hemisphere when weird stuff was happening the message above reply was this is anonymous post please remove all personal information and wouldn’t let me post????
But there was nearly 400 people using this site maybe there was an overload problem, but great to see numbers like that.
Or maybe it was my comment about Jeff and the Wiggles.I can’t make new posts on this topic says it contains sensitive information please remove personal info.
Maybe the comment why isn’t US Government demanding the same deal as Australian Government and how lucky we are that both our Governments allow us to import life saving medication. came through edit.

.20 February 2016 at 7:09 am #12311A.L. is the resident troll. He keeps us on our toes.
We need to be ready in case Gilead sends a professional, scumbag troll. A.L. is lightweight….he’s playing devil’s advocate.
20 February 2016 at 7:20 am #12312I think it was good he did post about the $15 he paid for treatment, It’s just too bad he did not explain about support path. Some people may be considering generics because they can’t afford Harvoni co-payments, which can be staggering.
20 February 2016 at 8:28 am #12314Hey I remember seeing the first post about this and its really weird but im getting the anonymous post when I reply to this thread…. and whats weirder still is that on other threads when I reply I dont see the anonymous post.
Whats up with that man?

Are you kidding?
I’m a troll because I complain that a thread seems to have been deleted? I’ll take my words back if there’s a logical explanation I have missed, but according to the internet etiquette I’m familiar with, deleting threads is a serious business.
It is a very odd phenomenon of recent years that certain communities have become critical of free speaking, or at least very tolerant of censorship. I’m hoping that this site, with its willingness to ruffle feathers in order to do good, still maintains a basic regard for freedom of discussion.
Like I said, if there’s a simple technical explanation, I’ll reconsider my comment. But if I’m a troll, then they have certainly become a very polite and non-intrusive species (and I’ll have to find another name for the critters here who can’t tolerate my extremely minor deviations from the party line.)
