It is so good to hear American senators Wyden and Grassley really taking this thing seriously.

2 December 2015 at 2:20 am #4996This is good news and certainly needed, but really…18 months to confirm what everybody already knew and what was as completely obvious as anything could be? Gilead never provided any viable or beievable rationale for those prices.
Now the good senators should calculate how many people died as a result of not getting access due to those high prices and Order reparations to the families of Gileads’ victims, but I would not bet on that ever happening. Perhaps a class action lawsuit might work, but that will bring no real comfort to those who have lost loved ones that could have been saved–at best maybe will send a message to any other unscrupulous profiteers.

I’m starting to see fixhepc among most of my ‘hepatitis c’ searches on google. Haven’t tested on the .com only .com.au but would be interested to see how this goes.
Not sure if this has been mentioned before here but could committed forum members take the time to comment on our blogs on the front page, I think in terms of google analytics these get spread and are more responsive than postings inside the forum. I don’t pretend to understand this stuff (analystics) but have a strong sense that we should be seen to be active and it’s great for first appearances, at the very least. Thanks peeps, F I X H E P C R E V O L U T I O N!!!!!!! Em

Hi,
I just tried searching for “hepatitis C” on Google USA with no country-re-direct (https://www.google.com/ncr) and sadly FixHepC did not appear in the first 37 pages offered. However, Pamela Anderson got two hits (hmm, crude joke brewing there?).
On the other hand, in the UK, the report by senators Wysley and Grassley on Gilead’s greed came up on the first page of results:
http://fortune.com/2015/12/02/senate-gilead-medicaid/
and Pamela Anderson got another hit (it’s true!), but sadly still no fixHepC in the top 37 pages.
Maybe fixHepC should consider investing in a sponsored link on Google on the basis of “if you can’t beat ’em join ’em”?
I have no idea about the cost, but I’d be happy to contribute to that personally!

7/07/16 UND SVR 2412 December 2015 at 4:42 am #6027So does this sort of mean they may be able to help already cirrhotic livers or prevent them becoming cirrhotic?
Like if the livers already cirrhotic, can they fix those veins?
Is that the gist of it?
