Welcome Sean
Not sure what the legal process is for Ireland but I would sus out a friendly GP to write your script. Just ro clear up one other point buying from mesochem doesnt require being part of a reseaxh project but wod help. It’s the script that is important and they would prefer to be batching the apis to someone like Dr Freeman. It can happen if you want, just read all the info that dr freeman has placed on here. Parixularly about the process, doxumentation etc. Dr Freeman also runs GP2U a skype GP clinic, some others from OS are booking appointments jist to nail down a course of action. Em
23 September 2015 at 6:30 pm #1457Thanks Sirchinenge, Dointime. Wilko and Emilio. Lots of useful info. I got a call this morning from the Irish Medicine Board (H.P.R.A.). They say no way to importing A.P.I’s for personal use. Would have to have a manufacturers license. Only way is to bring them in in tablet form. Good luck to you all with whatever way you do it and thanks again for the advice.

12 week SVR at end of April ’1623 September 2015 at 9:08 pm #1458Well, there’s a shock as I suspected its not legal to take an API into Ireland
These are the same people that refuse to allow medicines be sent via mail.
On a side note. In the USA a hedge fund bought some old off patient anti plasma drug with in a few weeks
upped the price from 13 dollars per pill to a mind boggling 750 dollars per bill.He was slated for this and due to bad press is now reducing the price. His own stupidity and greed has grabbed the attention
of Hilary Clinton, she is suggesting she may legislate in the US preventing the likes of Gilead continue these predatory pricing
practices. I think there is traction in forcing some changes. We shall see.

All liver functions in normal ranges.26 September 2015 at 6:36 pm #1487Just a quick update : I saw the consultant on Thursday. Bad news : he reckons I won’t get Tx with Harvoni for another 2 years. Also, he would not write a script for me. Good news : he is willing to monitor me and my G.P. has written a script : )

All liver functions in normal ranges.1 October 2015 at 11:44 am #1635Still new here, is a good 1 here. Am in a situation in which I have little funds, no insurance and no doctor . Is kinda like on my own. I see on Greg’s last blog Mesochem isn’t cooperating so nicely lately. I also notice that some members here are on other forums as well. On 1 I saw a discussion on compound consistency with HCV drugs. I have been looking into buying from China for quite a while now and I have decided to use SOF-DAC so that’s my studies. Still thinking bout RIB. I have gotten several quotes for Sof-Dac. These quotes range from $382.50 to $950.00 delivered here to US. I am not a chemist but I have seen 3 different chemical make-ups for DAC. I have seen different CAS #’s as well. Guess they are not all the same! I thought that curious so looked at exact make-up for Daklinza (the original). Mesochem uses the same make-up as Daklinza. The company I use will too!! I’ll post how this works out. I’ve decided on the company but China is on a holiday till 10/08.
3 October 2015 at 6:27 am #1707hello Wilson, How would you get this delivered to the US? Are you able to get a US Dr. to write a prescription for out of country meds? I thought you needed that to have them shipped through. I’m in the same boat, I need sofosbuvir and daclatasvir and my insurance wants me half dead before they will consider giving it to me.
GT 2b; since 80’s, no prior tx, sofosbuvir and daclatasvir compounded from API’s at Kingswood Pharmacy in Sydney, started tx nov 6,2015, undetected at 4 wks, UND at 8 weeks, UND at 1 week after EOT, UND at 4 weeks after EOT and UND at 8 weeks after EOT. I feel GOOD!! I knew that I WOULD!””
3 October 2015 at 7:22 am #1708I can’t answer that 2B. Pretty sure it could come down to chance. I have had merchandise sent here including herbals from China. Herbals come in a foil bag. and I have never had any problem. I ordered a dashboard console from Florida which took forever. (2 extra weeks) and when I received it it was labeled that it had been opened and inspected. Why they picked that item I don,t know if it seemed like a bomb or it was just a random check. I will look into it further. I’ve been diagnosed as cirrhotic but I don’t believe him!! But just in case he’s right I do know I can’t afford Gileads goin rate. I also know if I don’t get it I’ll die. Can try to get a freebie from them or just take it upon myself. I will try to get a prescription in the next 8 days.I don’t need a script for China. I may need script from in the US and worse case scenario I wasted $750.00 .Already know what it is if I don’t get the med.
3 October 2015 at 7:26 am #1709OOPS. Missed part of that. A script is a script. I guess the question is gettin a script for API’s. Probly have to buy 1 online.
3 October 2015 at 7:32 am #17103 November 2015 at 11:25 pm #3276I live in the US and didn’t get a script for my transaction with Mesochem. Look at my posts in Patient Stories under Hopeful in the U.S.. The whole process I used from ordering to compounding is there. I DO have a script from my Dr. here, but it never was a part of my dealings with Mesochem. I will take dose 14 of sof & led tomorrow. You can get this from them and get well. Mine sailed through Customs and was here in 4 days.
Best of Luck!
