A big thanks again for all the support I have received here
My GI doesn’t do SVR until 24weeks I found out. I would really like to do an SVR12 at least. Might ask the GI nurse again but maybe I can get my GP to order it if need be.

I guess SVR24 is the gold standard from a medical POV but it’s a long wait for those of us with an emotional commitment in the process.
Onwards and upwards to SVR whenever you decide to test for it!

25 April 2016 at 7:55 am #16150Hi, all so great to see so many getting to EOT
Been very busy so haven’t been on as much of late, but did finally get my EOT lab results and have posted in my signature.
I remain UND and guess I will have to try and get my GP to order my SVR12 since the GI doc doesn’t do one till 24wks I was told. Really don’t think I can wait that long for SVR
Just loving all the great attention Dr J is getting from his presentation in Barcelona
Still feeling a little tired at times, but otherwise feeling pretty good
Couple of more nights at work then off for a much needed vacation to Mexico
Sending lots of cyber hugs to all and best wishes to all for SVR
Thanks everyone for all your support!!!!

9/23/16 SVR24 ALT=11 AST=2225 April 2016 at 12:32 pm #16156A simple ALT is a good quick check. In all the relapses we’ve seen a significantly elevated ALT has flagged it a week before the viral load has come back.
YMMV
25 April 2016 at 10:26 pm #16170Thanks Dr Freeman, I am pretty sure I can get my GP to order the PCR Quant if not I will ask for a metabolic panel in order to get my ALT. I have an appt with her before I reach SVR12. The only thing is that my ALT from the begining wasn’t elevated even when I was still HCV +
