SVR24 Redeemed2 January 2016 at 3:21 am #7764Hey MyGoat,
Monkmed are handling the online prescriptions as well as shipping, go to their registration page you’l be asked if you have a script or not – if not they will email you with a doc’s appt time. If you want to help out Dr J with the trial it seems a pretty straightforward process…only took me a while to get sorted on R-2 as I already had the meds in hand, which complicated matters,

ALT 262 January 2016 at 4:09 am #7769Thank you Zhuk,
Well, I hesitate to go thru monkmed because I don’t know what the extra costs would be. I’m hoping a GI will prescribe, appt. paid by insurance. I’m set to pay for meds or the trial but don’t want to incur diagnostic costs. I want to ask the GI if he/she will order the labs regardless of where I get meds. Just to clarify my situation, I have insurance but do not want to wade through months of denials for the scrip if I don’t have to.
Cheers

SVR24 Redeemed2 January 2016 at 4:13 am #7770No worries, understood if you want to avoid a consult fee makes sense to get a script on insurance if you can. Where are you located, MtGoat?

ALT 264 January 2016 at 1:30 am #7906Hi,
There is no cost to talk to a MonkMed doctor. Everything is included in the package price.
You can talk to a doctor anytime by scheduling a consultation after your have submitted the REDEMPTION form.
29 August 2016 at 11:44 pm #22625Hi everyone, I am new here and trying to sort out how to get involved in the REDEMPTION 2 trial. Monkmed mentioned a form to fill out…can someone direct me to that please? Thanks so much.
Background: I was diagnosed in 2002 and have been tracking since, type 3. Currently the situation in the US is wild and crazy and my current doctor can’t do much as insurance won’t cover the medication. So, here I am, looking for another way.
Peace.
