Hi Everybody,
we may see that many Fixhepc users (and a big thank you for them) have been and are active in spreading the good news about the HCV cure based on the generic drugs, therefore I believe it would be a good idea to have a dedicated thread so that anyone who has an idea about how to facilitate the action of spreading the information about HCV generic drugs may contribute with ideas.
So please feel free to post your ideas here !!
Cheers,
RHF

Don’t become a Hepatitis C statistic. Get treated with affordable generic medication and rediscover what it feels like to be well again. Generic medications are identical copies of effective medicines, but carry a far lower price tag. In a world where half of all HIV patients take generics, why is it that less than 1% of the 180 million HCV patients worldwide been able to access the new miracle cures? Imagine how good you will feel to be free of Hep C. Google for “generic hep c medication” to find the facts. Sharing this post could save someone’s life, so please help spread the word and share this with your friendsMessage 2
500.000 people unnecessarily die every year because of HCV. The cure exists as branded and generic medicines and the worldwide mass treatment of HCV patients is the key for making the world free of Hepatitis C! In a world where half of all HIV patients take generics, why is it that less than 1% of the 180 million HCV patients worldwide been able to access the new miracle cures? SVR52 achieved12 July 2016 at 4:28 pm #20864Hi RHF
Here are a few ideas in the pipeline that have been discussed in other threads.
1. Contact newspaper columnists that write on health issues in your area offering them details on generics and real people that are taking them and getting cured. I have contacted several from the Boston Globe briefly outlining my story with Hep C and generics, along with medical evidence (my blood work) showing amazing results with LFT”s normalizing and huge viral load drop post four weeks after generics tx. No response yet but it’s only been 2 days.
2. I am having a few of Doc Freeman’s published work on generics printed out and will offer them as reading material at public health centers where folks without insurance go to get help. (With permission of local staff)
3. Same as number 2, only the audience would be AA and NA meetings. Place info near the coffee and donuts that are offered at most meetings. (With permission) And also include your hep c story as part of your addiction story if and when you speak at these meetings. Not applicable to all, but for addicts as myself AA/NA meetings are incredibly supporting environments to share at.
Cheers

Adding a subtitle in your own native language to a youtube video and having it published on youtube in your country increases the chances that one of your compatriots will see it.
There are now quite many videos on Youtube talking about generics for HCV. Many are available in English, so you may chose one that you consider relevant.
Couple of tips:
– check the video’s licensing terms
– you may add a subtitle by using the caption option from Youtube or embed the subtitle in the video (the free tool Windows Movie Maker is very easy to learn and use).
– you need an youtube account
– usually, the work to embed the subtitle for 1 minute video requires about 10-15 minutes, depending on your language skills and ability to type. So for a 10 minutes video you will work about 2-3 hours.
– on youtube you may add additional information about the video material and its content, but make sure you are not exagerating nor posting info that are against Youtube rules (false info, discrimination, etc) as it might lead to the video being removed (possibly also other consequences for breaching the rules).Advantage: videos are very convincing, so you need to make sure that the translation is of a good quality
Disadvantage: the videos are not so much visualized ( like the news from an online website) but hey, if at least one single person will use the information from the video in finding the way to get treated from HCV, you may still call it a BIG WIN.
Cheers,
RHF

Cùng nhau loại bỏ Viêm gan C trên khắp thế giới!22 August 2016 at 7:11 pm #22457An idea inspired while watching the olympic games in Rio 2016 and the RESPECT badge that the referees wear during football games:
– in many cities worldwide there exist different open competitions, like swimming x km, running x km for a certain cause where normal people are invited to participate.– what if the people who join/participate would be asked whether they would agree to wear a sticker like “generic HCV drugs = a cheap ticket to life. By wearing this sticker you might save the life of an HCV patient”. When asked about their agreement, the participants could receive a 1 printed page containing the EASL press release from this year.
I would tend to believe that people doing sport regularly would be willing to do something good for the humankind.
I try to imagine how nice would it be to see such a movement in many cities around the world.
Well, that’s just an idea, but perhaps it may trigger better ideas..
Cheers,
RHF

If patients are interested, they will research and come here. Check out my comment on the one below. I am fathand Robert. Didn’t think about showing only the video. Below is my comment or you can go to youtube and see it. Cheers!!

Harvoni is not the answer for everyone. Generics are just as good and total cost for a 12 week treatment is less than $2,000. Go to fixhepc.com for more information. That’s right, there is an fda approved clinical trial. It’s called Redemption (etrial) you gotta supply your own doctor to order blood tests etc. Check it out, it’s available for all countries including the USA. Dr. James Freeman is the name to know. Check out the link minus the period at the end. I didn’t want to show a Harvoni video. lol ~Cheers!!Name of the video is (Hepatitis “C” is Harvoni the answer?) Had to remove the link, didn’t want to show the video but I plaster comments like the one above.

23 August 2016 at 4:24 pm #22478I emailed one podcaster, Matthew B, last night. I told him about my situation and asked if he would be interested in the fixhepc story or if he knows of another podcaster who might want to talk about generics. He is a great guy, a writer and a playwright and hopefully will get back to me soon.

Haha, yeap, that might really work quite impressively .
