    This is interesting, a journal article about DAA access in Switzerland and how they still need the generic importation mechanism, the tools they have still don’t cover everyone.
    We are similar here in NZ, about to get Mavyret for everyone but it leaves a treatment gap for those with more advanced cirrhosis.
    This article says, the worlds biggest ‘buyers club’ is, of course, FixhepC. :+1: :+1: #flower

    Genotype 3 30 years, 2x treatment interferon/ribavirin non responder. Cirrhosis 17 years. Fibroscan, decompensating, 40 down to 22 by 29/3/16- now down to 6.5, normal, no cirrhosis. Started Buyers Club Sof/Dac 14 Nov 15. SVR 12 29/0716

    Thanks Hazel. An interesting article that is trying to call it as it is and bring buyer’s clubs into the mix as a mainstream option. It really highlights those extraordinary price differences despite some negotiating for lower cost DAAs.
