about Ed Ganes comments my response is this……
Hope you have a large pipe Doc Gane cause you can stick my SVR 4 in it and smoke it! Must say i’m looking forward to when Doc Freeman & Greg present their report in Barcelona. Let the facts ignite that pipe and hope you have an appetite for some good ole humble pie and some Twinvir to help wash it down.

9 April 2016 at 11:04 am #15134This interview of Tina’s was done quite a while ago, and it was major part of what got the ball rolling here in the New Zealand media. I’d done the first newspaper story, and was at her place listening while Tina was doing this one… the journalist was just stunned to silence and 30 mins later posted that other article on the NZHF website, and there was heaps of interest from that point on. Tina did an epic rant on Gilead which of course got left out but was fairly motivational! And the other bit left out which I think is probably unique among our experiences, is immediately after being diagnosed, she had to go into the operating theatre and assist as they drained the liver of a Hep c patient in their last few days of life. She has actually seen those livers I hate to imagine! And she has also been in the unique position at times over her career of hearing the ‘esteem’ we hep c patients are held in when under anaesthetic and can’ t hear. So bloody good on you again girl for having the guts, to spill your guts, when you have seen the guts!
