    @mexicobound

I just returned from the lab after 47 days of self prepared API’s from Mesochem. To be honest the news was what I had expected. Since I am in Mexico it said NON=DETECTIVO. Words I never thought I would see on MY blood work.

One thing my AST my ASt was 203 way high

    ALT 52 normal
    Bilirubin 1.07
    Billirubin Direct 0.26
    Bilirubib indirect 81
Anyone have an idea why this may be so high. A result of the Meds”I see my doctor in Mexico Friday but I am a bit anxious ( but very happy )
I would like to thank Dr Freeman although I was not a patient he took the time to write to me about the correct dose of Daclatisvir. What a Saint.

Just a thought, but better ask a doctor: did you got checked also for other diseases that might give high numbers of AST ?

In fiecare an HCV ucide peste 500000 oameni.Medicamentele generice pentru hepatita C functioneaza. Nu deveni statistica! Cauta pe Google “medicamente generice pentru hepatita C”.
HCV kills more than 500000 people every year. HCV generic drugs work. Don’t become a statistic.

    Hello MB,

    Thanks for the kind words.

The isolated AST elevation needs looking into, especially in the context of having no HCV detected.

Hep B and Haemochromatosis would be high on the list but my approach would be:

    1) Repeat test and hope it has gone away :-) – about 50% of the time isolated abnormalities just disappear
    2) If it’s real….

    Re-read this:

And make a plan from there!

    YMMV
