    Hi everyone

    I have to say I’m feeling VERY relaxed coming up to 12 weeks post EOT. So relaxed that I’m not worried that I can’t get back to the doc for 3 weeks after my bloods.

    The months pass.
    Sometimes fast sometimes slowly.

    The odds are hugely in my favour, and in the unlikely event I do relapse, I have many options. More new treatments than I can keep up with, and if RPA can’t help me I know I have somewhere to go.
    Dr James I hope you know how this much means.

    There have been many posts by people who are stressed out following EOT (including me). I read a comment in one of those posts implying that people weren’t ready to live without the gift that keeps on giving.

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

    IMNSHO it’s more a case of feeling that the UND result is just too good to be true, more so for people who have been through the living hell of interferon. I reckon this is normal.To imply that people can’t get into the mindset of being HepC free, well that is just weird to say the least.

    Quite likely you have been feeling pretty damn fine during your treatment. In the weeks following EOT things will change as the meds leave your body. It took my body 9 to 10 weeks and a short break from work to stabilise. Looking back I realise I should have taken a week or 2 off straight after. I recommend this – do something that makes you happy, rest and take it all in. I’m aware it’s not always possible but at least do small things that make you happy.

    Feeling pretty happy and lucky that I have health back. It’s a Big Deal

    I also just got a promotion at work (thanks boss). My awesome boss worked on it for a few months. I always get good performance reviews. But I suffer horribly from impostor syndrome and worry chronically that one day he will realise that I am useless and a complete dud and be disappointed at his wasted effort.This is absolutely and ridiculously paralysing
    I never attributed this mindset to HCV.
    I don’t mean to trivialise what you are going through or to hijack your post.
    Welcome in advance to Australia if you do come but please don’t bring the British weather

    RPA in Sydney are good too if you are anywhere near there. Don’t know how long a wait for new patients but I do know that back in March when the DAAs came onto the PBS they were crazy busy (I imagine their job satisfaction levels would be pretty high right now)

    Bangkok – just over a year ago I booked a room overnight in the Sinsuvarn Airport Suites hotel for $30 approx. Own room with own bathroom, (noisy) air cond, comfortable bed the size of a small suburb, complimentary airport shuttle, no complaints

    Don’t beat up on yourself! If your LFTs are normal chances are you’re ok.
    All I got was 4 weeks then 12 (EOT), and then 12 weeks after which is coming up.

    If I can help that’s great, however I’m definitely not one of the twitterati. :) I don’t feel the Twitter love. :unsure:
    One thing I will do is follow the federal Health Minister (is it still Petty Cash?).
    Every time you follow a politician they follow you back, so if their staff get hammered with fixhepc tweets, who knows they might just pay attention
