    This shit of a disease impacts your attitudes, mind, body, emotions, spirit and anything else you can think of and you don’t even know it.
    But the amazing thing is, it gets reversed so quickly and suddenly you see life through new eyes.

    How exciting for you!!!

    My side effects were minimal,and the doc said that was an indicator that the meds started working right away.

    Within DAYS I had heaps more energy, focus and mental sharpness and my sleep quality was deliciously awesome. No more waking up for no reason.

    Within weeks I was swimming faster.

    My boss noticed my increased energy and loaded me up with more challenges – thanks buddy.

    Wishing the same for you. Except the extra work. Unless that’s what you want of course.

    I don’t have the big C (shanks be to dog) but in my experience high intensity exercise and resistance training really helped me deal with Hep C.
    I went to a personal training gym to get fit and lose weight and I swear the trainers’ mission is to kill all their clients. They work you HARD.

    Looked really good for a while but at the moment the fat kid that lives in my body is a bit too dominant.

    Unfortunately I ended up with a low back issue and extreme, horrible sciatic nerve pain (resolved by Network Care Chiropractic, acupuncture and very specific restorative Yoga (the last really accelerated the recovery))

    It’s under control but while I am very observant of any signs of any possible recurrent issues I’m starting to feel the need for cardio that is more intense than ocean swimming (which really is fun more than exercise).

    When I first got diagnosed I threw out all the nail clippers in the house that I could find, and bought 2 sets – mine and not mine.
    Explained why and also the risks.
    Was my advice listened to? Waddaya reckon? You can lead a horse to water……

    Maybe it’s time to find out why Keith Richards didn’t like that neck of the woods (the Stones played in Invercargill which is a few hours’ drive away to the west ad south in the early 60’s and Keith said it was the arsehole of the world.     Hi SShady, my VL was also very high and it didn’t seem to matter, my meds seem to have worked (UND at end of treatment, waiting on SVR12 in September)
