We had a terrible cold and flu season in the United States last year. A tent was set up outside my local hospital to handle the overflow of patients. I hope you have gotten your flu shot. I got the flu last year even though I got the flu shot. This year I’m taking the usual precautions like frequent hand washing. We still have to go out into the world.

Looking forward to SVR 24 results.

Ron I have also been trying to get the word out here in Southern California about Dr. Freeman and the FixHepC Buyers Club and have been shocked by the lack of interest. I printed up flyers and spoke to the head of a local AIDS organization. I have given them information to distribute. I have offered to help anyone through the process. Perhaps it is because I am a 68 yr old woman. I’m starting to feel invisible. My doctor refuses to give out information or even mention Dr. Freeman. He says it is an insurance liability issue. Well I will keep on trying.

Congratulations on your successful treatment. My heath has continued to improve. I did have a root canal 6 months after EOT. Another person on this site also developed dental issues after finishing treatment. Make sure you get regular dental check ups this next year.

My fasting glucose started increasing about 16 months after starting treatment with Harvoni on 8/12/16.

    8/1/16 Glucose 91 Creatinine .89 UreaNitrogen(bun) 13
    1/4/17 Glucose 93 Creatinine .92 UreaNitrogen(bun) 18
    7/13/17 Glucose 95 Creatinine .83 UreaNitogen(bun) 13
    12/28/17 Glucose 99 Creatinine 1.02 UreaNitrogen(bun) 15
    2/28/18 Glucose 115 Creatinine 1.04 UreaNitrogen(bun) 15
    Root canal on 3/26/18
    7/10/18 Glucose 83 Creatinine .88 UreaNitrogen(bun) 9

    9

Turns out I had a tooth infection. I did not have any pain. Once I had the root canal and started walking an hour a day my glucose and Creatinine went down.

Has you Creatinine increased? Could you have some undiagnosed infection?

Yes unfortunately data on the effect of sustained virological response (SVR) on the risk of EHMs are limited. Nothing yet on IOP.

    Thank you Dr James.

I am 68 yrs old and my glucose level had been hovering around 98 for years. I started walking for an hour a day after breakfast. My recent glucose level test was 83. It hasn’t been that low in over a decade. I am surprised that moderate exercise worked so well.

I experienced a skin issue on my right ear only. It was like a lesion. My doctor gave me Fluocinon 0.05% I had to wear an ear guard to sleep. I wore the ear guard for 3 years. The area was still tender after I finished My Hep C treatment with Harvoni. I continued to wear the ear guard for a month or so after taking my last pill. Now the skin on my ear is fine and I am left with a small scar.

If you start the process of obtaining meds today then you will be able to start treatment and see progress within weeks. My mental outlook completely changed once I had the meds. My anxiety and brain fog began to lift and things got exponentially better. Good luck. I will be looking forward to reading about your journey.

You have put my mind at ease. Thank you. My schedule has been turned around because of the heat wave in California. It was 116 degrees on 7/6. It has stayed hot. I had my blood tested at 9AM on 7/10 but I had been up since 2AM. I go to bed in a room with a small air conditioner at 6PM. I walk from 5AM to 6AM. In the hot summer I go to bed at 6PM and wake up at 2AM. I guess 9AM would be my afternoon. My previous blood test on 2/22 was done at 9AM but I awoke at a normal hour because it was cool outside. This could explain the variation.

My fasting Glucose just tested at 83. I checked my old lab results and the last time I had that number was 2008. Walking does reduce blood sugar levels very effectively. Prior to my dental issues my Glucose stayed around 97. I’m keeping the walking as part of my routine.

I considered Tour N’Cure especially because I am G4. However, I chose Monk Med because the price was reasonable and I didn’t have to leave my home. I obtained my prescription through Mon Med so they took care of everything. I give this website the highest recommendation. It saved my life.

I am also cured and still have a healthy liver. It was 2 years ago that I started the process. I had been spending $35 a month on single use eye drops because of eye inflammation. So since then I have saved $840 on eye drops. Also, I was spending $60 a year on ear guards because of skin outbreaks on my ears. Total saved on ear guards for 2 years $120. That comes to $960. Net cost of treatment was around $500. Oh yes, and I have a healthy liver.
