Thanks for all of your thoughts and suggestions. It really does help.
I’ll start doing my research (thanks for the start Tweakmax) and make plans for going forward.
Thanks for the visual Matt. When I mentioned the terminator yesterday I was going to invoke Sarah Connor but couldn’t quite get there. Feeling a little more Sarah today.
Thanks for your thoughts LG. On Friday I’m attending the funeral of someone who has died too soon with Hep C but thankfully not because of it. I think that’s life putting things into pespective for me.
Hope all is going well for you over there.
Thanks Hazel. Yes I think mine are terminator tough so I’ll have to find something clever to fight them with.
Thanks Beaches, Fretboard and Gaj (and thanks so much for the PM Gaj). You are so right that there are good options already here or coming along soon. The fight goes on….
I’ve just caught up with your news Jill. Well done you! I’m currently waiting for my SVR12 results so can appreciate your relief.
I love this part of the story. Congratulations Tweakmax!!
That’s a great looking number you have there Fitz!
Hi LG,
I hope you made the most of those two days of sunshine! I’m sending you some from my corner of Australia which has ample.
I can relate a little to your thoughts. I was happily and quietly hanging out to have my 12 week SVR blood test when I had a few days of feeling pretty flat. It’s easy to let the anxiety creep in so I had my blood taken a few days ago at 11 weeks SVR to meet it head on. I do think it’s our recovery and getting used to what the highs and lows of normal feels like. I’m trying not to let it mess with my head.
Hi James,
I took mine at night as I guess initially I wanted to give the medication a clear run and I wasn’t sure what the side effects would be (minimal as it turned out). There were a couple of times when I realised I’d forgotten just when I was drifting off to sleep and had to get out of bed to take the tablets. I missed twice when I was travelling and took them the next morning. There does seem to be some margin for error.
If I had to take the medication again (and who knows – I’m waiting for my 12 week SVR results) I would probably take them in the morning to give my memory a better chance. I think the phone alarm is a great idea.
I’ve measured this a few times over the years and am an ENFP. In the middle of my career I shifted a bit to a borderline ENTP because of the role I was in and the type of decisions I needed to make. I’ve just measured it again and have shifted back to ENFP so I guess I’m back to my truer Jungian type.
Yay – they are beautiful looking results Meg!
That’s what we like to hear! Great news Sir.
17 July 2016 at 10:23 am in reply to: GP2U and Skinview – Diagnose melanoma at home using your phone #21002Due to my misspent or well spent younger days under the Australian sun I’ve had skin cancers dry iced, cut out and creamed with Efudex (which is a shocker – give me the ice or the scalpel please). Anything that makes it easier to monitor and diagnose potential cancers is worthy of my three votes and more. This is especially good for those in rural and remote areas where the demands of life and the tyranny of distance can designate a doctor’s visit to check out a dodgy mole way down on the list of priorities.
Great innovation. Dr “Bones” McCoy of the Starship Enterprise knew a thing or two.
Sorry to hear this Gaj but good to see some positive results amongst the disappointment. I’m sure you have your tough days but please let me add my thanks for your voice of calm reason.
