Congratulations Pat and well done Michael. Great results and wonderful encouragement for those of us still inching towards EOT and SVR.
Hi Honkers,
It’s great to hear everything is going smoothly. You can’t have done more to achieve an ongoing good result.
I’ve continued treatment for a further 12 weeks due to a slower response but I am also really aware that the virus is gone. What a great feeling it is. I have also maintained a focus on fitness during the treatment and I think it really helps physically and mentally.May the good times and good health continue.

Hi LG,
I haven’t really noticed very much difference between the Harvoni and now the Sof/Dac apart from the weird period of dry hair that I had on the former but who knows as it may have been caused by something else. I have been lucky with few side effects and even though I was a bit slower to respond I think I could really notice how much better I felt by 12 weeks. We are lucky to be able to do another 12 weeks but know I definately have to stop then!
Great that you are feeling better LG. Wishing you continued zippyness!
Hi HTRJ,
I am also a slower to respond 1a and I am doing an additonal 12 weeks of Sof/Dac following 12 weeks of Sof/Led. It is likely that technically a full 24 weeks is over treatment for me but I can’t deny the peace of mind factor. I am a bit conscious of the fact that I’ll need to go cold turkey in a couple of weeks.
Wishing you all the best with your treatment.
CoralHi CJ,
That’s great to hear that your friend is finally receiving treatment. What a relief for him and for you and your husband who have been advocating on his behalf. It does make you worry about those that don’t have someone in their corner to battle through the medical minefield.Wonderful news about J. Life is good.

Looking good Emilio. (Your results and the grandchildren!). Congratulations.
Hi Dac,
I am just catching up on some posts and saw yours. Well done on your perseverence and getting all of the treatment that you need. Hooray for that first pill – it’s pretty special – and so is the last one! Wishing you a smooth time.

Hey Beaches,
Congratulations on starting the treatment and best wishes for a smooth run. The weeks will fly by. It’s wonderful that people are now able to access the treatment through the system and all cudos to those working hard to make it happen. The price charged by G still boggles the mind….
Cheers
CoralThat is such great news Lynne. Tick off that milestone and celebrate!

Well done Dr James and GP2U – at the forefront as usual. Clear, informative interview and loved the short 90 second version for those of us with short attention spans. A great resource to share.
Thanks CJ.
All going well so far with the change to Sof/Dac. I think I have been very lucky with my lack of side effects but not so lucky with a quick response so I guess it all evens out somewhere.
Good luck with that first blood test. Shame on that GP.

Thanks LG. Yes I seem to have cultivated some tough critters. Hopefully the change of meds will shock them into submission!
Have a great weekend.Great news Lynne! Enjoy those last tablets and that’s a job well done.
I think the next few weeks will fly by – best of luck with all of your plans for the future.

Hi Ariel,
Thanks so much for the good wishes. I was meant to be taking my last Sof/Led tomorrow but will move onto my Sof/Dac on Friday instead. The ceremonial taking of the last tablets will have to wait just a little while longer.
I’ll take those splashes of sunshine thanks!
Thanks 2b and it’s all good. I’ll just get on with it until they’re dead as dead.
Congratulations on taking that last pill tomorrow!! I know what you mean….taking the tablets do become part of the daily routine. Best you celebrate in some way and enjoy that healthy liver feeling.
Australia welcomes you back anytime you can make it…
