Thanks chester, I agree with the concept of having some upfront order/structure and allow the organic stuff to keep happening at the sublevel. Em

I don’t think it would be an issue as long as you’ve got the measurement/mix right. I’m downing both at the same time so same same. Em

    Hi Enkel

Just in regard to your viral load, it really is your own personal immune response and there is no correlation between viral load and damage. Nor is it well known why some people have high VLs into the millions vs low VLs in the 100,000s? And VL is really variable and can jump around a fair bit. Em

Yup can confirm that ‘index’ is automated as the front page. It’s interesting the things we take for granted when we move around sites until we have to think about it in a structural user friendly capacity. Em

Thanks for this DLS. I’ll note this when we start tinkering. Dr Freeman I’m liking the private messages shortcut up in the top right hand corner. DLS I always operate the site from recent topics and I’ve been saying that we need to have main menus etc, however if you operate from ‘index’ you have these main menus. Therefore I’m thinking that when people enter the forum this should be the front page. Maybe it is I’ll have to test. Em

Not really tweak, I’m mean I don’t party much these days and I eat well and get a little exercise but nothing serious like ie. walking the dogs, chasing grandchildren, camping and fishing. I’d be interested to hear from others pre tx VLs compared to post tx relapse VLs. A bit out there I know but its not the fist time I’ve heard of response and wonder is there a common the catalyst. Maybe it’s multiple and or random but would interested to know more. Em

Thanks for the updates Nadia and Vickie hope things settle down for you both. Day 7 for me and I can’t put my finger on any sides however being mid spring here I have hayfever and feel like shit anyway. I know what you mean about the liver sensations I’ve felt that a couple of times but thought I was imagining things. Energy levels are up there and I’m eating well lol. Em

    HI Everyone

I got some of my baseline results back today being my VL 123,000 and my haematology which was unremarkable, everything in range except for my neutraphils which was 1.7 and slightly under range. I’m thinking a recent chest infection and flue may have been the cause of this as I was really unwell as they were drawing the sample. All my other WCC indicators were in range?? I haven’t seen a copy of my liver function test but did hear the gentleman state that my GGT was 67.

Prior to my tx in 2008 on several occasions perhaps 6 my viral load typically tracked at 3 and 4 million and seeing the 123,000 baseline today really shocked me, given my previous numbers. I’m wondering did my previous tx provide me with a new immune response which was different to my pre tx response?? Very curious and so excited by VL though. Em

Alsdad, your advice is definitely needed. I like some of the structure of ‘killthedragon’ so we appreciate your advice and experitise. It’s really the structure and architecture that we need to address. As the site and activity grows it’s imperative to get it right. For example I was tinkering today in the settings of chat (right bottom corner) and realised that we have a true ‘private chat’ via clicking on ‘private messaging in the settings. Doing this brings up all private conversations that we’ve had with others and provides an opportunity to leave messages for each other. I didn’t know that this function existed and I’d like to bring that option forward for forum members and fixhepc front page visitors. Thank you everyone. Em

Thanks everyone and I will take everything on board and talk with others as we go. Nothing major just tweak to get things smoother and ensure that the expert information remains up front. I’m also some tweaking with the chat tool. I also like the organic nature of the forum but many have commented that it is clunky? Klhild, I agree with linking the front page better to the forum. Em

Perhaps if we could have the various categories upfront and separated on the main page this would assist people to channel discussion correctly? Just a thought. Em

Thanks everyone for your explanations of how this happens. I have never redacted a document b4 and it makes sense that the process involves layering over graphics of which can be undone by removing that layer if you have some tool. Makes you wonder why someone would go to this trouble? Anyway just be careful using pdf redaction and as Alsdad and I have mentioned ;permanent marker, scan and upload and or/similar. Em

    Hi Chester

Yeah I heard about your arm from Klhilde hope it’s okay and given that you’re also taking ribavirin there is a good chance of getting some skin rash. Okay I didn’t realise I could drill further into the tool, so will have a look at this. Did K get his meds okay? Em

Hi Everyone and thanks Dr Freeman for the storage information, many have been asking the question.

Well day 6 for me and no sides to speak of however I find it difficult to discern between this my ‘hay-fever’ and ‘asthma’ season which generally messes me up from mid October to mid November. I’ve put my hay-fever medications into the contraindications tool and found that Claratyne/Loratadine is ok to use on sof/dac but nothing is known about my nasal spray which is Zytec so I’ve ditched it for the time being. I also suffer from seasonal asthma at this time and can advise that ventilon/subutomal (spelling) is ok according to the tool, thankfully. I need to move from this region and head to the coast as I’ve been advised that this region is the worst in Australia for my allergy. Em
