For the record (in my experience) the way the regulations are administered, If one can’t get the medication here in the US, and if you are denied or wait listed it is effectively unobtainabe, one is allowed to import up to a 90 day supply for personal use.

Serial killers aren’t necessarily always Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy or Jeffrey Dahlmer types. Some operate out in the open, in the full light of day.

Do ya’ll over in West OZ say “ya’ll” too? There are several different forms of ya’ll over here in the states. First off, “Ya’ll” is a southern thing. Just so ya’ll know.

Yankees (mostly anyone who doesn’t come from the south, or who we don’t know) don’t ever say ya’ll. If a yankee does say ya’ll, they’re not fooling us. We still know they’re a yankee.

There are different forms of ya’ll. There’s the old south, polite “You All”. Then there’s just “Ya’ll” … a contraction of “You All”. Then there’s “All Ya’ll”. When someone says “All Ya’ll”, they’re usually referring to Yankees. Like “Where’d all ya’ll come from?” But it can be used in a positive way as well like, “All ya’ll come on over to the barbecue, Sunday.”

Oh, and if someone uses “ya’ll”, whatever you do, don’t refer to them as a ‘yankee’ or a ‘yank’ . Trust me on this.

When the subject comes up at the doctors office, I’m always asked how I contracted Hep C. The honest answer is, I don’t know. And, then they go through the list. Tranfusions “No”. IV drugs? “No”. Have you every used Heroin? (To myself:Isn’t that the same question you just asked?!.) “No.” Cocaine?….I just bust out laughing, and then when they stop laughing too… “No.”

To myself: What the fuck difference does it make? Do you want me to guess? Is there a prize for the right answer? (No.)

How often do you drink? “Now nothing”. To myself: Back when, whenever I wanted a beer, and I really don’t need a guilt trip – so can we just fucking move on?

How, and when, did I get Hep C? I don’t want to be disrespectful, and I know this isn’t the answer they want, but I just don’t know.

You would be absolutely amazed at how many people we can reach with just a few well placed announcements. Last night I posted a few PSA’s and this morning a few more. Last I checked, of the twelve I posted, five are still up. Each of those five PSA’s will be seen by hundreds if not thousands of people over the next month.

I am just one person. If there were ten more Americans doing the same thing, we could post hundreds of PSA’s across the entire United States every day. A hundred of us could move the needle nationally, and even internationally.

So get mad. Get real mad, and then come and help me out. I can use another pair of hands.
