I’ve been posting, here, and there, and everywhere! I had a little time today, and must have put up 20 notices in 20 different markets. Last check, 7 were still up. Its a numbers game. I put em’ up. They hunt them, and take them down. In the meantime, what has been seen, can’t be unseen. Tomorrow I’ll spend a little more time, and put up a few more notices.

Cheers Mate! And thanks for the great cartoons!
Thanks Greedfighter, and Defeat10! I appreciate the support.
2nd day of treatment, and no significant fx so far beyond a little brain fog this afternoon. I called my specialists office for the 2nd time in two days to arrange for labs (bloods). For the second time in two days, a second nurse (gatekeeper), who’s job it apparently is to keep patients from consulting with their physicians, questioned me about INDIA(!!!!), and opined from on high, that if I were a part of a trial, whoever was conducting that trial should be monitoring me! After I told her who was heading up the trial and pronounced Dr. Freemans name for her no fewer than 3 times, she insisted upon mispronouncing it again, apparently believing it to be an INDIAN(!!!!) name.
Undeterred, l left a message to have the Dr. call me about scheduling labs. That was my day

Miracles are happening here every day!
Congratulations Hazel!
Well done.
Thanks Beaches, and Ariel! No time like the present!!!
Para todos los amigos y amigas aquí!
Well, all I can say to that is – “you rock, Meg”! So glad you were able to get meds through Greg. Triumph upon triumph!
So delighted to be on this journey with you!
Thank you for the welcome, Pat! Learning about your successful treatment, Beaches, Ariel, Debs, GT2, London Girl and many others has been truly inspirational!
Finding this community, having such a tremendous group of people all in one place, and first rate Sof/Led treatment in hand, starting treatment, all within about three weeks, still seems a bit surreal.
You know from my previous posts that it took a year just to see a specialist, and that within a week of finally having tests done, my physicians request for Harvoni was denied, seemingly in record time.
To have the medication in my hand (and in my bloodstream) just three short weeks later, feels a bit like I’ve entered an alternate universe, where instead of being triaged directly to “NO”, I am suddenly on the road to recovery, a cure!
It IS a bit surreal, and from where I stand, it is rather wonderful as well. Right now, there is nowhere on earth I’d rather be than here among my friends.
Looks like, you, Meg and I are all starting tx around the same time. Congratulations on taking the plunge Patrick! May you always ride with the sun at your back.
Just received my medication here in the US through the REDEMPTION 3 Trial. In addition to consulting with Dr. James Freeman prior to entering the REDEMPTION 3 trials, I received a consultation with my Monkmed prescribing physician upon joining the Trial, and just now received a follow up call from him to make sure everything had arrived (it did), and see if I had started treatment (I had).
Additionally, I was advised to contact my prescribing physician with lab results, and to contact him with any treatment questions or concerns. So far, I can’t speak highly enough about the level of care, service, and professionalism I have experienced. I’m very impressed!

Note: Payment was made through a payment portal associated directly with the REDEMPTION 3 trials. At no time, did anyone ever ask me for, or suggest that I make payment over the phone.
Bea,
I suggest contacting GP2U for a medical consultation, and possible participation in the REDEMPTION trials. The cost for the consult for me was AUS $100 (about US $66). I felt it was well worth it!
I believe you can also contact monkmed.com for a consultation. If memory serves, I believe the cost to speak with a Monkmed physician with prescriptive authority is around $10 through monkmed.com.
Be sure to have all of your lab results handy.
Good luck!
