Hi everybody, it’s been a while since I’ve been here so I just wanted to see how you’re all been. See that a lot of you are cured, I guess and I hope I’m one of you. My last tests were in November 2016, 6 month after EOT and no virus was detected
So happy
and grateful to Greg, Dr.James & FixHepC + all of you for support

I didn’t worry that much about it and it passed… worried more about high iron but that passed too. Funny thing is that usually iron is not monitored during hcv tests so I’d say manny might have it high but don’t even know.
Monitor it and hope it’s gone soonthank you for all your wishes folks…a lot of beautiful ppl here

It’s been quite a ride for me. Only last 3 weeks were a bit easier.
Now I have a perfect blood picture, I’m hepC free and I’m REALLY hoping it stays like that. So it mos def was worth the troubles!
Hitting some alcohol, garlic, mangos and fresh orange juice now
Thank you all for caring and turning the world in to a beter place!
Forever grateful to Gregg and Dr.Freeman

6 month after EOT still UND πHi all, yes, I’m G3 – I don’t know why you don’t see it in my profile – I see it
I can’t really change my doc because she’s alpha and omega in our country. I have to indure somehow all her harsh behaviour towards me for now becuase she is at least giving me all the tests for free. They are pretty expensive here. And I anyway have at least some kind of monitoring (although for every high level of anything in my blood tests she says that there’s nothing she can do since she doesn’t know what I’m taking).
I’m on a low carb diet, my intake of sugar is low, and I drink plenty of water…
I’ll wait till Friday to see what my outcome on VL is and then turn to GP2U if needed.
Until than I’ll try to stay sane….
Thank you for your support!

6 month after EOT still UND πWell, today’s experience was terrible – I guess what hurt me the most is that she looked like she’s enjoying the fact that I didn’t get rid of the virus in week 4 with generics.
But the fact that I’m not UND stays and is not really promising either – can somebody copy me a link where Dr.Freeman explained how the odds are lowering if you’re detected on 4th, 8th week? I tried to find it but I didn’t :/
Not a fan of “what if’s” but what if I’m not UND ob week 8 either? Should I really stop?

6 month after EOT still UND πsooo…I’m starting week 9. Had a terrible urinary infection 14 days ago wich had to be treated with antibiotics. All in all my body seems to adapt so less side effects past week.
Today I got back from my hepC Doc and finally got week 4 blood tests. I’m not undetected. I still got it. Don’t know how much because they didn’t measure Viral load. Today they took my blood again and I should know on Friday if after week 8 by any chance it’s gone.
Doc was pretty terrible to me, she yelled at me on the hallway so everbody could hear it: you’re still positive!!
Inside she lost it even more, saying that she was in Barcelona last week and there was a debate about generics also and everybody was establishing how irresponsible this selftreatment is and that it’s not known what’s inside this drugs. Also that Chinese drugs are the worst. She managed to scare me and I doubt my decission of selftreatment…especially combined with the fact that I didn’t manage to get rid of it at week 4.
The Doc said that if after week 8 I’m not UND than that I should stop eating this. Any thoughts on that?
Well….past 2 month weren’t a picnic for me and as it seems that the last one ain’t gonna be much better.
I also have high glucose wich I never had before…apart from my high level of iron. Anybody else got this?
Thanks…
Hope.

6 month after EOT still UND πHi everybody, approaching half of the treatment, end of week 6.
Don’t really have good news:
– my blood in urine resulted in a huge bladder infection (or something like that – the doc isn’t sure). At one point I head really terrible aches in the end of stomach, peeing was painfull as hell. I also peed a bunch of bloody filth at the lab – like some kind of trash :/
Since I don’t have problems with UTI’s otherwise, I kinda think it’s the meds. I got antibiotics wich actually don’t do me any good, after 3 days of taking them it should be better but it isn’t.. My kidney area started to hurt, also my liver area. Don’t really know what to think about all this… It also frustrates me that instead of 2 pills a day of Sof/Dac, I have to eat additional 4 of antibiotics…
– my period stopped, I’m having hot flashes, my gynecologist says that I as well might enter a menopause. I’m only 41!!!
-sleeping got a bit better
– heartbeat/palpitation and other stuff is ok for nowHave no idea really how to handle this…anybody here with similar problems???

6 month after EOT still UND πToday I had an appointment with my hepC doc and I told her I was on generic Sof/Dac. Her first reaction was…well….she was angry and suprised. Her question was how a smart, intelligent woman like me (I’m accepting marriage proposals in my inbox ) with such a fear of pills could go and purchase pills from India and started taking them.
She said that she’s worried about the additives in this pills and long term effects of this additives and this combo. Well couldn’t say much about that, but I told her that it was THE TIME for me to do something regarding my hepC and that’s it. At the end of conversation she was already a bit calmer . She was like “I don’t know what to do with you”. And than she said something that suprised ME. “Come in a month, I’ll monitor you like you’re on regular treatment with us”.
I thought it’s a nice story so I’m sharing
So in a month I’ll know my viral load, they took a bunch of blood out of me. Will keep you posted.
