Happy for your 2 weeks news! #flower
    Well done!

    Hi GT,
I am also on tx with Twinvir! 7,5 weeks already. :cheer:
No side effects. A slow responder, but my viral load was really big.
Wish you good luck and…UND

    Hi Dan,
Your LFT improved constantly during tx. You are on the right way. I am sure the VL will come after. :cheer:
We are not alone in this club, of slow responder. I think is related also with age. Sorry for my question, your age is? B)

In my case, I will finish the 12 weeks of tx. Hope I am not one of those 2-4%. Hey, we are GT 1b, easy to treat, no one have failed the DAA tx. :cheer:
But if it so, now there are other options, like SOF+DAC or SOF+DAC+SIM and other licensed Indian generics. It will cost extra money, it will be hard, but there are good alternatives.
Hope the best for your 8 week VL. #love And for mine too.

Good decision, bloods in a different hospital! :)

    Hi Dan,
I know, you are sad, because you don’t have the desired results that others have.
I was also sad after 4 weeks my VL came with 83. :(
But Dr. James wrote this on my thread, a patient with viral load tested during tx:

”To reassure you here are some real results from a patient of mine…
    Week 0 7.8 million
    Week 4 76
Week 5.5 < 15 Week 8 0 Week 12 0 SVR 4 0 SVR 12 0'' I am not a doctor, but I think this is maybe also your case. Maybe your week 8 viral load will be....UND. Wish you all the best!

    Hi Psavic,
Sorry to be late on your thread. B)
I am also on TWINVIR for 7 weeks already. Even though my Fibroscan and Fibromax were good, indicating F0/F1 I am responding quite slow. But hopefully in the good direction. :cheer:

I am not a doctor but I think don’t be very upset about your Fibroscan test versus biopsy. The liver tests ALT/AST are very good. :)
I am sure you are on your way to be healthy again. Just do the viral load at 3 or 4 weeks for reassuring yourself that the tx is going in good direction.
    Good luck

Thank you Dr. James for reassuring that I have very good odds! B)
99% chance of success was unthinkable in the IFR era.
Thank you for the example with viral loads very closed to mine ! In fact the world is not so big, after all!

I still have hope that I am not in 1% of those who are not so lucky!
But, good to know that there is available an alternative in the worst case scenario. SOF DAC and SIM.
Wish you all the best and have the strengths to guide us to the desired SVR12!

Thanks Ariel the mermaid, like your name :)
Thanks LondonGirl, good choice also for your name, remind me of being spontaneous and young :)
It is a big drop from 9.000.000 to 83 in 4 weeks. Those bastards were so many and they were feeling so good inside my liver/body.
I was a polite host, but not anymore!
Generally, I think positive and I am an optimistic. B)
Happy with my progress toward regaining my health! :cheer:

    I know from
    http://fixhepc.com/forum/viral-load-and-svr/287-viral-load-on-treatment-what-to-expect.html?limitstart=0
that after 8 weeks I have a big chance of UND.
But if not, maybe I must continue the treatment more then 12 weeks.
So I have to arrange to buy the medication as soon as possible.
Dr. James please consider my question if you have some little time.
    Thank you so much! :)

If my viral load is not UND at 6 weeks, half treatment…
Maybe it is recommended to prolonged the treatment with 4 weeks, with a total of 16 weeks?
I don’t know, I am a little bit disappointed.
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Thanks! :)
