I hesitated at first pill, fear of the unknown. But I wanted so much to be healthy again. I wanted so much less harsh treatment than interferon.
I refused Interferon 5 years ago when there was no alternative. Now I’m glad I did. Who does not risk anything will not win anything!

I’m happy for all people with hepatitis C who live in a country as big as a continent, Australia.
And I think they rushed because of the work of special people like dr. James Freeman and Greg Jefferys.
I hope that the example of Australia will be taken over by other countries.

ALT and AST values close to both of us. The same upper limit to ALT.
It’s hard to wait so long! But at least we have good results at LFT.

Urea and Creatinine – done and are OK
The electrolytes, the various salts in the bloodstream… things like sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate.- never done, as I remember.
But I shall test at 4 weeks!
And 52 weeks? Why? As I understand the treatment is either 12 weeks or 24 weeks.

I have the blood tests results after 15 days of treatment.
Yay! Liver blood tests are very good! Not so good in years! ALT 14 AST 20. Before treatment ALT 44 AST 37.
Waiting VL. Only after Christmas, I guess.
