    Wonderful news Dan!
You have a small start VL therefore NOT DETECTED in week 2!
No side effects apparently is not possible. But you forget all when you get rid of the virus!
Good luck with your doctor!

    Hi Tweakmax,
I’m glad you got used to the side effects that are bearable, I think.
Easy treatment and fingers crossed for blood tests. Only undetectable!
And I also started with Twinvir. I guess I’m lucky I don’t have nasty side effects. Except that I’m gaining weight. I have to be careful what and how much I eat. :woohoo:
Expect the first blood tests 2 weeks!

    Hi Enkel,
Wonderful that it will be possible a treatment only for 4 weeks. It’s very important for those infected recently with no experience in cohabitation with the virus.
I do not know how it is for those who have the disease for many years, sometimes decades. Psychological element is important. It takes some time to get used to be healthy again.
Good to know there will be other therapeutic options. Because we can get infected again. That’s how I understood from what I read.
We have a soft spot for virus C. :woohoo:
    Easy treatment! And SVR soon!

Very interesting this extrahepatic involvement in hepatitis C.
In the last 10 years before being diagnosed with hepatitis C, I had strange pains.
I investigated, but no explanation. So I got to get used to them.
These periodic pain, comes and goes, in the diaphragm / stomach, as if you have something you can not swallow. Ultrasound / Endoscopy = result = unknown cause! Periodical pain, comes and goes, back at the base ribs. The pain woke me up, because that always happens at around 2 to 3 am. Rheumatologist / x-ray= result = unknown cause!
In both cases only help was heating pad. And patience … it usually does not last longer than 1 hour.
I hope the pain does not come back if I will cure hep C!
