I have G1a as well and my experience has been just like yours. After just a couple of days i started to feel way better. Enjoy feeling normal again. It is a blessing.

Absolutely Vororo. I just wanted to know the numbers for my personal knowledge. Thanks for your answer!

Thanks. i will stop hogging psavic’s progress now. Sorry about that. Psavic, I hope you are feeling way better now that you are almost a week in to your meds! I only interrupted your post because your doctor told you that at 10.2 you were F3/F4 and my doctor told me that with 10.4 I was F3. I don’t know if they use other factors to get to their conclusions but it here is a chart someone graciously posted for me in my own topic about this:Attachments:

Is the chart you are referring to the one in the experts corner forum? My problem with that one is that I am somewhat colour blind. If anybody just knows the numbers for the Different “F” states of the liver for someonr with HCV it would be much appreciated if they posted them. Thanks,
Ken

Should have mentioned that this is more out of interest for fibrosis in the liver than for different cure rate scenarios from the HCV

Thanks for that, but I am colour blind. I would love to see the numerical listings for the different F’s in numbers and not coloured charts…

I started with 10.4 on my fibroscan and my doctor said it was F3, not F3/F4. I wish I could someone could post a clear numerical guide to the F’s for hep c people. I actually just started a thread asking the same question…

Yeah. Huge bottle in big boxes with 7 caplets in each. When I went to pick up the meds, that someone so graciously brought back from Bangladesh to the States for me when they came to visit, I stuffed all 12 bottles into 2 to come back to Mexico,
I guess the 7 pills to a bottle makes a kind of sense if you are being treated in Bangladesh. With the brain fog and all, it’s pretty easy for me to have doubts as to whether I really took my pill in the morning.LOL. I have begun to mark it on the calendar as soon as I take it, but a bottle with a weekly supply in it could prevent stupid accidents.
A PITA is you want to import them, though…

I am taking their Lesovir-C. A friend who works an NGO in Bangladesh brought me back the 12 week supply in mid december. I told them about twinvir and about lesovir-c and I think they felt that Beximco is a really respected pharma company there and they went with the lesovir-c. I am still waiting for my 4 week viral load results, but all liver function tests came back normal a couple of days ago and I am feeling sooooooooo much better.
I will start posting my personal adventures as soon as I get my VL results on Monday.

Hi there,
I had bad reflux, gastritis and esophagitis b4 starting tx. After about 2 days of tx it got WAY better. Now, after a month of treatment I take 20 mg of omeprazole with the generic harvoni about once a week and occaisonally an alka-seltzer in the afternoon (once or twice a week).
That’s just me, but I would guess that after just a few days of tx you could very well have way less reflux problems.
I wish you luck!

I would say I was depressed for a good while b4 starting tx. I blamed it on waking up knowing I was going to feel like s..t every day. About 5 days into tx I noticed the depression just disappeared, but I was also starting to feel quite a bit better physically. Depression is still gone 4 weeks in to tx. Yaay!

London Girl,
You saw the original cheat sheet they have posted here, right? Not just the explanation Dr. Freeman gave in this thread? It is more detailed, I believe…
