    I remember people talking about ‘smells’ on the old treatments – Possibly the old triple with Boc or Telap or maybe Riba.
    Smells and strange tastes. Maybe it’s the bodys own reaction to the medicines attacking the virus, your own immune system?

    I am going to get the whole lot done. For Drs and for me too – It’ll be handy for a vriety of reasons. It is quite expensive and can’t really afford but not as expensive as going through a private Dr if they request more testing when you are there.

    This is what they told me : “The Comprehensive Plus V at the Spire Hospital does not include AST. We can add this on as your free test though if you would like it”. – I tried to add this as suggested online and it didn’t work (wouldn’t add AST for free) – awaiting response but may just call. The Nuffield wanted around £200+ but Spire hospitals are ofering the deal from the same website as above.

    (Edit) My last fibroscan was July 2014, nxt appointment around 6 weeks away, but may be further wait for a new fibroscan. I don’t want to pay for one as it seems they are not always correct.

    Thanks Wilko, yes I have been communicating with them, it’s more like £145 if you want to include Hb & AST though and quoted £206 at Nuffield. Full comprehensive blood test inc. Hb offers free AST as an option, but when you try to add that it won’t do it. Trying to sort out today.
