Stiffness measured by Fibroscan doesn’t say too much about real liver condition. It is only scale of inflammation. So, maybe your BF doesn’t have cirhossis. Biopsy is much more representative, because there are checked liver tissues.

After treatement, when the virus is gone, liver is not eaten by inflammation, and stiffness goes down. In some cases it is quite fast process, in others take some time…

I don’t know how HCV works… In my case after EOT I don’t feel much better. In my opinion I feel even worst during the time I had to swallow sofosbuvir and daclatasvir pills.

My situation was quite similar to yours. I was undetected since 18th day of treatment. Additionally I got HCV-RNA test in the middle and in the end of treatement, Both were negative. I followed Doc. Freeman advise and I’ve extended my treatment to 24 weeks- F2 (9.2 kPa) and VL: 1,23*10^6 IU/ml. Today I received SVR4 HCV-RNA test: HCV virus is not detected. Now I am wait for SVR12… and whatever tomorrow brings.

Anyway, upcoming Friday i am going to finish my 16th week of treatement (8 weeks left). I am UND since 30th August. So, the question is can I go to gym? I think about 3 times a week training, about 1 hour long each. I want to add, I feel great. I don’t have any side effects now.

My data is from our polish support forum. Its verified and also placed on moderated by Greg site: http://hepatitisctreatment.homestead.com/harvoni-india.html (see “Poland” label). BTW Poland is nearby Germany:D And I don’t know the law in Germany. Maybe for Sven Redemption trials are the simplest solution.

The easiest way is to order drugs to Poland. Do you have any family in there or friends? You only need permission for drug shipment. Drugs for 12 weeks are quite cheap especially for citizen of Germany:

    • Hepcinat + Natdac 60 – Natco, 700 dol.
    • MyHep + MyDacla 60 – Mylan, 650 dol.
    • Sofovir + Daclahep – Hetero, 620 dol.

You can contact with this guy from India. he is trusted seller. His name is Vivek. Contact is placed below:

    e-mail: info@medsure.in
    Skype: medsurein
    WhatsApp: +919096843768

If you have any queastions, just ask…

I wonder… maybe that ‘s also genetycly detremined. For example my brother’s liver parameters are: ALT arround 10 and ASPAT arround 15. And he is HCV free. So mine, when I will be healthy, supposed to be similar.

Today I got my lab tests. I don’t understand one thing.
Before treatement my ALAT was equal 28, in the beginning of 5th week of treatement was 9.9 and now, in the beginning of 9th week of treatement is 5.9. ASPAT also dropped from 18 before treatement to about 10 now.

I don’t know why people mostly have these two chemical parameters rised (in my case they were ok even before treatement)? I want to add that my liver fibrosis is/was F2 (9.1 kPa)…

So just check ALT and ASP. If they are similar to the results obtained at the EOT you should be fine. That’s my opinion. You can always take another HCV-RNA test.

In Poland we get drugs from three suppliers. You can find contact to them on the website (Search Vivek or Gandhi):
    http://noweleki.hepatitisc.pl/p/leki-z-indii.html

    Here is the third supplier:
    http://noweleki.hepatitisc.pl/2016/08/kolejny-cennik-od-kolejnego-indyjskiego.html

Here u have price lists (Gandhi’s list if from the end of July):
