Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”17 June 2016 at 12:09 am in reply to: GT2 Honks About Generic Sofosbuvir +Daclatasvir (SOF + DCV) #19259Nice find GT2 thanks for posting it. Will probably come in handy in, at least pointing people in the right direction. Always helps to go in “informed” when you need “go in”

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Sven. I wanted to add my congrats to you on getting on board the train to HepC freedom and add that I’m sorry you lost, not one but THREE of your brothers to the “DISEASE”. Tragic.
I lost my older brother to the disease of alcoholism before this other one, (HepC) could take him. He died in a single car accident while on the tail end of a 4 day drinking binge. Before that he’d been clean and sober for 5 years but was facing having to deal with cirrhosis of the liver. He too had been diagnosed with HepC and was wrestling with whether or not to go the peginf ribavirin route. He was scared of it and rightly so. In the years since his death, I’ve often wondered if his accident was really no accident ???
That aside, the positive aspect of his death was that it woke up our two younger brothers to the need to seek help with their addiction problems. They did so and have stayed clean and sober themselves for over ten years now. My brother would be proud of that.
Since my finding Fixhepc and then starting the Redemption trial, I’ve been able to get both my brothers, who also have HepC, excited about getting treated. .. As, you’ve already experienced on this site Sven, we’re not alone on this journey.Best wishes on a successful treatment and we’re ALL looking forward to seeing you get posting on your own topic. Just follow Gaj’s direction to that url he posted here and you’ll be on your way in no time. Oh yeah, WELCOME to the fray!

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Hey Fitz, I’m right there with you brother. A lot of ups n’ downs, (mostly ups for me) but, yeah they’re there. New for me in the last few days, is itchy spots. Not too bothersome for now, but noticeable at times. For the most part, so far, Im feeling better and better. Many of my close friends have commented how I look better, my “color” looks better they all say, and as GT2 noted on his post, I’m losing the belly fat. Yay! All it took was these DAA’s! Go figure

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Gives all the right reasons for going generic. Same curtsy to Gilead at the end. Allowing them the final “smart arse” word. As if they’re saying, “Kiss my diamond studded, 24c gold ring, you ungrateful wretches for allowing you the privilege to go bankrupt paying for MY meds. YES I say MINE. Afterall, I paid for them out MY OWN pocket, with the “blood money” I myself squeezed out of other unfortunates like yourself. So don’t you dare to raise your jaundiced eyes toward me in hope or in defiance … Just go on as long as you can living your poor meaningless life.”

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Welcome back to the fray Billym. Sounds like you needed to gather strength before jumping in
Great news! SVR12! And hey, thanks for sharing with us some of the turbulence you experienced during and post treatment. It helps.
Also, wanted to say I appreciated your expressions to Greg J., Dr. J. and Sylvia Price. They’re well earned and well deserved
Oh and so you know, you Aussies won’t get off that easy the TGA only banned you from accessing certain parts of this site that they consider as advertisements for generics. So we’ll expect to see more of you on here my friend.Matt

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Oh, so well said fitz,
I did the same thing and feel the same way and continue to, daily after 28 days since SOT
I just wanna add that when I get to thinking about the price “the nameless one” is charging, I think, this little pill is sooo very precious, almost priceless you could easily say … MAN! Don’t drop it down the sink! hmy: Why is that toilet seat not CLOSED!!!!
It is, as someone, who shall also remain nameless but who’s initials rhyme with fits, said, “It’s your (my) life on the line!”
Thanks for your post pal,MK

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Hello Grass, I can only add this to what Mike said, it worked for me. I like many on this site live in the US and couldn’t afford the branded form of meds and insurance denied helping out. I took a slightly different tack regarding getting a script so I didn’t end up relying solely on the Redemption package. While at a scheduled visit with my doctor, I showed him an article that’d recently been posted on EASL’s website about the results Dr. Freeman is having with the e-trials, I then, mustered up the courage to ask my doctor if he’d be willing to provide me with a prescription for Harvoni, (branded treatment of sofosbuvir and ledipsavir) and to my delight and somewhat of a surprise he agreed. And not reluctantly, but readily.
I’m posting the link to that EASL report in case you think it’ll help.
