Yes Sven, I confess it hasn’t always been purty, or even fair … but it has always been fun!

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Hey fitz! Just getting back from being off the grid for the last week! What great news man. Never a doubt. I’m glad yer back and in better form than ever!

P.S. I still nose a guy if ya need ‘im…Hey fitz! Everyone! Just thought I’d add my comments since I’ve been playing catchup here and posted the above before I got to theses last several posts
First of all, fitz, kudos for putting your feelings out here for all to see. Some, myself included, can more readily relate to your viewpoint on how our care providers come across, intended or not, others, may relate to Jeffs. Either way, we should respect each other’s views and try to allow for the differences in experience. I see that here so often and it is heartwarming.
I have to also admit that here in America, people expect you to get to the point. Don’t dilly-dally around, we’re busy. We have more important things to do than stand around trying to decipher what you’re trying to say.
Sorry, Aussies, Kiwis, Brits, n’ others who might wanna savor every syllable issuing forth from your lips to our ears … we just ain’t got the time ….
Hope y’all take this in the fun in which it’s intended (that’s my disclaimer). to ALL!

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Hello everyone! BOY! Did I take forever to get back here to update or what?
Anywho, I did my dr visit as scheduled and it went purdy much like I figured it would. The doctor was pleasantly surprised by my labs, said, “It looks like it’s working! You’re on your way to being cured!” He then walked me through the different results that were indicators of liver function etc. and said, … “everything is normal. I don’t doubt that you’re VL is probably undetectable at this point since this lab is 4 weeks old. …. What’s the name of that sight again?”
I told him Fixhepc.com, and he pulled it up and started looking at it.
Oh yeah, I asked about another lab at EOT and he stuck to his guns and said he prefers the “latest guidelines” and he’ll do one 6 weeks after EOT. kinda bummed me out a little, but HEY! He wanted to look at the web page!
As I was scheduling my next appointment with his staff I looked back into the exam room and the doctor was still seated at his computer looking at the website. SCORE!
The reason it took so long to post this is, my wife and I went off grid, electronically speaking, to do some long planned, emotional and spiritual restoration work. We returned home last night and that’s when I “plugged” back in. I listened to my voicemails, including one from my Doctors office, requesting I return the call ASAP. hmy: Kinda disconcerting, but I called back this am and I’m sure you guessed it! (I was hoping it’d be this and not some dire diagnosis) YEP! He wanted that website address again. He couldn’t remember it and he wanted it so he could provide access to treatment for his patients who are being denied by their insurance. Now they have the same opportunity that Fixhepc gave me. I told them to feel free to share my contact info with anyone they deemed could use it.
I’m dancing … Anyone care to join me … just jump right in
I added my doc in the above dance.
Now I’ll go catch up with the rest of you guys posts for the last week

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Well! Hello semisweet! Love that monicker
See what happens … a guy takes a couple of days off (away from this crazy world of electronic gadgets and such) and up pops another American hmy: we’re kinda like weeds in the land of OZ.
Truly happy you discovered this place. You’ll find you can’t stay away. It’s my home away from home. As you’ve already seen, they treat ya like family here and EVERYONE has a story. Thanks for sharing some of yours with us. Congrats on starting tx and TG for Dr. James and Fixhepc indeed! I know like the rest of us here, you’ll want to spread the word to those of us whose “grains of rice” had to come from that rice bowl, because Gilead was too greedy to share from theirs.
Looking forward to following your progress sisMatt

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”Wow Gaj! I hardly know what to say … Of course I echo everyone’s well wishes … It’s at times like these we all feel so helpless, words can’t describe … But, like you have done time and time again, you turn pain in a positive direction, even though this time it’s your own pain. You think of others even when experiencing personal disappointment and find ways to encourage us through a discouraging point in your life and then focus attention away from your pain by thanking those who have and continue to help and support us. All I can say is… What a man! When I grow up, I want to be just like you.
Thank you Gaj,
Matt
