We have a lot of issues right now in the U.S.: All Congress can pass is gas, a large number of people hate Obama simply because of his skin color, another large faction think he’s weak because he doesn’t want to mire us down in another foreign war, the Republicans can’t even agree with each other and their leading presidential candidate is Donald Trump-a billionaire buffoon.
The rich can afford expensive medications and write it off their taxes. The poor don’t just have Medicaid. There are several patient assistance programs that will pay most, if not all, of exhoibitant medication costs.
That leaves us with the good old middle class. The ones that don’t have time to complain because they are too busy working, fighting our country’s wars and paying the bills. i’m sure Gilead did a study to determine how much the average middle class family could scrape together to cure one its members of HCV.
It is a mess, but I wouldn’t call any other place home. We can import our medications. We just need companies or organizations that will ship in such volume it will force Gilead to take some very public legal steps to protect its patent and extortionary prices.
And then the the kicker: who in power really cares about a bunch of needle-using, inked-up, locked up, doped up losers who are suffering God’s wrath for their transgressions….

Which brings me to the situation “over there.”: hopeless. Its hard to help people who are ignorant without the freedom of speech.

My take on her, from a person in the Bible Belt in a small southern state:
* She is narrow minded and set in her ways
* She takes her moderator title very seriously and it has become the main focus in her life
* She is a fundamentalist Christian and feels she is doing God’s bidding
* She is either senile, not very smart or both
* She views forum members as her flock and guards them against evil spammers and people she doesn’t agree with

I have relatives who believe that carrying a baby to term, even if having the baby will kill the mother, is better than getting an abortion. Hard to believe.
She is cut from the same cloth.
Impossible to reason with because her worldview is just so messed up.
A person like that in a position of power-any level of power- over other people is dangerous.
Delphi should shut down that forum ot get rid if her.
Not helping is one thing. Actively causing harm by censoring fact is simply unacceptable for a venue like Delphi.

First, this is not “going” anywhere. My wife and I are are devout Greek Orthodox-a religion that does not preach fear and sitting around waiting for God to provide a cure for your ailments and problems. It is so simple: We need to solve our problems ourselves, acting with compassion. The classic “do no harm”. Joy is harming her followers with her narrow views and heavy censorship. I am simply framing a scenario that is going to expose her for what she is: a person who is leading the ignorant down a very dangerous path. She will lock my thread soon. More likely, she will delete it totally. If I can help ONE person understand they can access an affordable, generic cure for the disease with which they have been cursed, I will have succeeded. If not, nobody will have been harmed. If the Lord is on her side, I will pay the price for my deception.
This is not a game I am playing at other peoples’ expense. This is also my last post on this thread, until the next one….

Do you mean if you are UNDETECTED at week 12, you will continue? Were you undetected at week 4? If so, you should be undetected as long as you are taking the meds.
