Good luck with your treatment. Yes very odd to see that much advance in fibrosis. If I was you I would definitely back it up with another test. It can be very different if test was done by a different machine , also the person reading the machine can come up with a different result. Test again.

Yep know what you mean guys, Ive told people tried to help them , they think Iam doing the wrong thing, while they wait for their “proper doctor with the proper medicine. Control over people…. I think something like that happened in Germany around 1933 ? And Kevin you know what your talking about is right on, people on this forum are different then most.. good on us we rock

So if DB died of liver cancer are we all thinking the obvious? . So many famous people have hep c I always feel its such a shame that more isnt done to promote the cause through fame and its power. However its very personal as well …the dilemma

Yes LG bloods at 4 weeks all good alt ast first time they have been low and normal in 35 years. The line up for fibroscans at royal melb hospital is 3 or 4 months. Which is going to slow the line up. The blood test which reads fibrosis sounds like what they should be doing. You cant do that test though once you have started treament, which is where I found myself without ducks in a row. Hi Sirchinenge I have decided to double up on my treatment because it was over a year ago I had a fibroscan test. I could not get a recent one. The two previous tests were conflicting. I could be a 2 / 3 or even 3/4 i have no clear evidence. The waiting line for fibroscan is many months. I would rather over treat then undertreat, no regrets. Also I read somewhere 1a relapse is possible. Thanks for asking .

Well LG I can tell you that after 11 weeks of treatment the tinnitus has finally turned down the volume to pretty much as it was before I took the first tablet. So there is the possibility that it will sort its self out eventually. Ive decided to go to 24 weeks so will see if there is any new side effects on the long haul. Best Jill

Hi zhuk Iam actually extenting my treatment because I started without updated fibroscan. Ive read that fibrosis can go up in one year. So just in case my condition was worse I will go to 20wks. Jill
