Jolie, try putting the blood pressure cuff on the lower arm where it fits better. We do that in Intensive Care when we can’t use the upper arm.

Also, if your blood pressure is high you don’t want to make it go up by exercising. Take it easy, relax.

Dan, chest pain is never a normal thing. You need to notify your doctor.

I swear, you guys are going to make me cry. It is things like this that renew my faith in mankind.
I and the members of HCVets.com thank you for trying to help one of ours. The reason we got him on the CBS interview is because there is nothing the VA hates more than bad publicity. They called him the day after the story was aired and offered him treatment.

BTW, I already told the reporter all about the Buyers Club and gave Dr Freeman her contact info.

This article says, ” Sofosbuvir, like many drugs, is partially cleared via the p-glycoprotein transporter (P-GP) system. Amiodarone is a known inhibitor of P-GP transport. Decreased P-GP activity means patients taking amiodarone could be exposed to higher levels of sofosbuvir. ”

And I think it’s worse when you use both Sof+Dac. 5 out of the 9 patients that had cardiac problems while on Amiodarone were also taking Sof+Dac.

Thank you Mike, I just have to convince my friend its okay.

I told her if she’s not around I would have to take care of her website and the first thing I would do is change it to hot pink.
I’m hoping that will help change her mind.

Thank you very much for posting this article. My friend can’t afford the meds so I told her I would pay for them but she’s refusing to get them because she doesn’t want to “break the law”. This article is just what I need to convince her. :woohoo:

Great info on your previous history. Would you mind if I ask what your kidney function looks like? BUN, creatinine or even better GFR.

I should be shot for forgetting insulin resistance can cause tinnitus, and of course, diabetes.
