Yes they were being inspected. The odd thing is they finally approved them in Indiana and sent them to me. Two weeks later I get an email from someone from the FDA office in New Orleans that he wasn’t going to send them! Glad there were those who I communicated with that had some sympathy and were on the ball.

The FDA officer that sent me the email basically said there is nothing wrong with me taking the Harvoni, it is just that I could not afford it !!!! No kidding Dude! Amazing. My gastro doctor didn’t even want to touch the bottle or read the information packet. She agreed to do a baseline blood work up but I will seek future work ups from my GP, hematologist or order the tests myself. There are places here in the US where you can order tests without a doctors lab script.

What I do not understand is in the US 80% of all our drug compounds and chemicals come from India or China and 40% of all our prepackaged drugs come from India and yet so many US doctors are afraid of helping patients getting the generics from India for Hepatitis C.

Hi I am in the USA and started taking the generic Hepcinat LP about a week ago thanks to Dr. Freeman, Tim at Monkmed and the Redemption 3 trial. The FDA did finally allow them in after holding the meds for about 10 days. I keep expecting all these side effects and I really have not had any to complain about. A bit of a funny taste in my mouth and maybe feeling a bit wired early in the day. No trouble sleeping. Everything usually bothers me so I hope I have the real deal and not a fake! Anyone else using this generic ? If so are you having any problem? Thanks and on to good health!
