    @sven

It is amazing that the brain fog & short temperedness came on so gradually I thought it was just me getting old but I now know it is a symptom if this disease. I do look forward to treatment as these atributes are not wanted and it’s not me, it is the disease.
My meds have just got out of customs and I cannot wait until they arrive. I will continue to keep my mind positive and my health as good as I can, I look forward to thinking clearly and being in my cool element once again.
In good health and thank you for ghost post.

I am shocked, but it’s not unheard of. Fake prescription sellers are all over, they must be weeded out and exposed immediately. Praying on someone’s life is truly disgraceful, despicable and they must be black balled immediately.
    Thank for alerting this site.

The Sof+Vel is what the doc said, get yourself ready to go forthat. That has a big chance, besting GT3 from the little I have heard, actually 1-6. I am with you, even though I am a new person to the site, I support you all the way.

Fitz….thank you for letting this rookie take up a bit of space. I’ll start my own topics as soon as I start meds.

Beaches – I didn’t see this until now. I too am grateful to Fitz for letting us steal a bit of his topic and will thank him now for letting us, thank you Fitz.
My meds hav just entered customs, and I am thankful so here is hoping for a safe journey to my house.
I have heard the side effects are negotiable for the most part, things that can be tolerated and of course some where they were not, but mostly are not bad. I did not here the constipation though so I will be aware of that and deal with it as it comes. I will just move forward and take it as it comes and hopefully it will provide more clarity, energy and hope that all will be done soon. I’ll, as you said, will enjoy the journey and I hope and pray this will be done forever and I’ll live to tell about it.
Thank you my Viking sister, you hit it right on!

Michael in no way was I trying to discount what you been through. I failed interferon and riba back in 2001, the riba almost took me out. However I did not go through the full treatment and then relapse like you did that must’ve been hell, I’m sorry if I sounded unsupportive. I was just trying to put a positive spin on having the opportunity for these meds. I do support you in what you’re going through and only hope that you’re cured once and for all with these meds.
    In good health my friend.

My .02 cents as a very new person on this forum:
It is hard enough going through treatment and hoping that you are cured, with the chance to be cured, rather than sit around saying even if you go through treatment if you don’t get to SVR 24 you will relapse or have the possibility of relapse. I was always taught to appreciate the opportunities you’re given and try to make the best of them and then when issues come up take care of them at that time. Why look at a bad ending when you’re not even done with treatment, or not even at SVR 4 then start looking at 24 and getting worried. I say we do the best we can, live life to the fullest and hope for the best…. it’s more that are insurance companies gave us this is a great place to be !
Or did I miss something? I hope I came across has looking at the glass half full !

I 100% agree, lets not do anything that would promote a negative outlook toward FHC. This is such a remarkable place as a lot of people, insurance or not, are being denied treatment due to GS costs. So giving away and thing even when your helping is not a good idea, follow protocol and all will be successfulfor for the next person to be treated.
    Thanks Mike.

Friz – I have made my diecision, meds are paid for and on the way they should be here early July. I had my opportunity and did not hesitate, GP2U and MonkMed is awesome, my doctor is impressed! I have had HCV destroy many things, I am the choosen 1 out of my family to live, the rest died all due to complications of HCV. So I am 100% on board.
Is there anything you can add about the treatment that may benefit us people coming soon? Most things I have heard is negotiable things head aches etc…but no real serious side issues unless they were present prior to treatment. So I’m just wondering, any advice for the rookies here? :)
Thanks man I appreciate your drive and pressing on attitude, I am waiting for your next tests to yell HURRAY!
    Thx man.
