Hi iseeson
First off a big welcome to you! I am in NZ and have recently finished a12 week course of which I am now SVR 4. Medication is able to be shipped to NZ no problem for around $2000. In order for this to happen you need to have a script which can be obtained in a number of ways * through a consult via GP2u
* through a consult with a partner of the Redemption Trial
* your own GP here in NZ is also able to write you a script as well which some here are doing. You will need to know what Genotype you have and depending on what state your liver is in will help to determine what medication and length of treatment is best for you. Where in NZ are you?
here is the link for the Redemption Trial

Hello
Id like to follow up on this thread with what I hope is some useful information for others who are also experiencing degrees of fatigue following a course of generic Harvoni.
Following the advise by Doctor Freeman I asked that my level of Vit D and B be accessed when I had my VL drawn on the 23rd March. Interestingly enough, in comparison to my pre treatment level (which was 66) had dropped to 50 which is considered low. I have since got myself some supplements to get the level up.
From reading posts from others, fatigue appears to be a common denominator following Harvoni…..
Im pleased that I may have found the reason to why i’m feeling exhausted and suggest a Vit D test if you feel the same.

Hi Paul
sorry to hear your news and I was wondering when I saw you had changed your signature to “having another crack”. So good we have options for when this thing happens. What meds and treatment length are you going to do?
SVR 24
Hi TK
Congrats on getting treatment you have done the right thing…and I really dont think Pharmac is any closer to making DAA treatment available in NZ in the near future….I waited 5 years and after that length of time I was over it and didn’t want to become any more ill than I was.
Best decision I made and haven’t looked back since Thats great the process has been straight forward and your meds are not far away. Wishing you the best for a hep c free future.
